This comprehensive template provides a production-grade reference architecture for CodeRabbit AI code reviews. It is designed to guide teams in establishing rigorous coding standards by defining specific, best-practice instructions for various layers (API, Database, Authentication, Frontend, CI/CD, Infrastructure). Use this as a robust starting point to build a comprehensive, automated, and secure code quality review process.

This skill provides a comprehensive guide to configuring CodeRabbit for advanced, security-focused code reviews. It teaches how to implement rules for detecting hardcoded secrets, common vulnerabilities (like SQL injection and XSS), and enforcing secure coding standards across APIs, databases, and infrastructure code. Use this when hardening a codebase's security posture or ensuring compliance with industry standards.

Automates configuring and aggregating infrastructure metrics across compute, storage, network, containers, load balancers, and databases with Prometheus, Datadog, or CloudWatch for dashboards and capacity tracking.

Generates production-ready auto-scaling configurations for apps and infrastructure, covering Kubernetes HPAs and scaling policies so you can handle load spikes, enforce high availability, and keep resource usage efficient.

Automates Istio and Linkerd configuration for microservices, generating production-ready manifests and setup code tailored to your infrastructure, emphasizing security, observability, and traffic management best practices.

Transforms detailed user requirements into secure, production-ready Ansible playbooks that automate server configuration, software deployments, and infrastructure workflows across multiple platforms for repeatable DevOps operations.

This skill provides expert guidance for modern, multi-cloud database administration. It covers comprehensive knowledge across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms, spanning relational, NoSQL, and graph databases. Key areas include Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Flyway), achieving high availability, disaster recovery, advanced performance optimization, and ensuring strict regulatory compliance (HIPAA, GDPR). It is essential for managing complex, highly reliable cloud data architectures.

This skill simulates a cloud cost optimization expert specializing in reducing infrastructure expenses across AWS, Azure, and GCP. It analyzes complex cloud spending patterns, identifies waste, overprovisioning, and potential savings opportunities. It provides actionable recommendations, implements cost controls, and proposes cost-effective, reliable architectures, ensuring cost efficiency without sacrificing performance or reliability.

This guide provides expert patterns for building robust, observable infrastructure for database migrations. It covers real-time monitoring using Change Data Capture (CDC), metrics collection (Prometheus/Grafana), and anomaly detection. Use this skill when setting up CDC pipelines (e.g., Debezium with Kafka) or implementing comprehensive observability for database schema changes and data synchronization processes.

This skill details how to set up automated CI/CD pipelines for Databricks data pipelines. It leverages Declarative Automation Bundles (DABs) and GitHub Actions to manage the entire deployment lifecycle. Key functionalities include running unit tests on pull requests, validating and deploying to staging environments, and promoting validated code to production upon merge, ensuring reliable and automated data infrastructure.

Use Declarative Automation Bundles (DABs) to manage and deploy Databricks assets, including jobs, DLT pipelines, and ML models, using an Infrastructure-as-Code approach. This skill allows defining resources and deployment targets (dev, staging, prod) in a single YAML file, enabling robust CI/CD practices and controlled promotion of changes across environments.

This comprehensive checklist guides the deployment of Databricks data pipelines and jobs to a production environment. It covers critical stages including pre-deployment security hardening (Service Principals, Unity Catalog), validating infrastructure (cluster types, autoscaling), ensuring code quality (unit/integration tests, Delta Lake best practices), executing controlled deployment, and performing post-deployment health checks and monitoring setup. Ideal for CI/CD pipelines and go-live procedures.
