Skill UI

This skill conducts a usability audit on interactive UIs using heuristic evaluation methods. It assesses whether a UI is intuitive and learnable without instructions, focusing on Nielsen's 10 heuristics plus interaction principles like discoverability and error prevention. It identifies blockers and issues in the rendered interface, prioritizing fixes before shipping tools or apps.

Measure rendered UI layout with reproducible spatial metrics and a separately assessed usability review. Distinguishes objective measurements from vision judgments and user testing for AI-generated interfaces.

This skill provides a comprehensive guide for implementing editorial design styles in web and mobile applications. It focuses on magazine-inspired layouts featuring sophisticated serif and sans-serif typography pairings, large drop caps, pull quotes, and columnar structures. Ideal for creating elegant, print-like digital interfaces with warm backgrounds and ink-like text colors. Includes CSS, SwiftUI, and Flutter implementation examples.

Guides polished product UI design and review with Emil Kowalski-inspired animation, easing, motion, and interaction craft for React, Tailwind, CSS, and Framer Motion interfaces.

This comprehensive guide provides core principles and implementation patterns for adopting the Flat Design aesthetic. It details how to build interfaces across web (CSS), mobile (SwiftUI, Flutter), and cross-platform frameworks, emphasizing zero depth, sharp geometries, and high-contrast solid colors while strictly avoiding shadows, gradients, and bevels. Use this when aiming for a modern, minimalist, and clean UI/UX experience.

A comprehensive guide covering the aesthetic and technical implementation of floating User Interface (UI) elements. Learn how to create detached, elevated components, such as cards and navigation bars, giving the application a light, airy, and modern feel across Web (CSS), iOS (SwiftUI), and Flutter platforms. Key principles include soft shadows, generous margins, and pill shapes.
