Skill UI

This skill serves as a comprehensive guide for academic authors, helping them pressure-test if their research topic is appropriate for specialist journals in comparative politics and international relations (IR). It helps determine if a project is substantive, comparative (travels across cases/systems), theory-advancing, and falls within the journal's core scope, ensuring the work meets high academic standards.

This skill guides authors in polishing academic manuscripts for top-tier comparative politics and International Relations journals. It ensures the work reads broadly across cases, front-loads the core argument, adheres to strict house styles (author-date, anonymity), and fits demanding word count limits. Ideal for final drafting and submission preparation.
