This guide details best practices for structuring supplementary material in highly technical academic submissions (e.g., STOC). It teaches authors how to design an appendix that facilitates selective verification by reviewers, ensuring that complex proofs, deferred results, and extended discussions are navigable. Key techniques include optimizing the Table of Contents, maintaining strict pointer discipline, and distinguishing between material required for core understanding versus material saved for the full version.

This comprehensive guide details the mandatory production steps required after a research paper is accepted for publication in Springer LNCS. Key tasks include de-anonymizing the manuscript (restoring true names, affiliations, and funding details), applying the specific llncs.cls format, finalizing metadata with ORCIDs, integrating reviewer feedback, permanently linking artifacts using DOIs, and completing the CC-BY open-access licensing forms.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting technical papers, detailing methods to ensure that all reported claims, figures, and benchmark numbers can be independently regenerated. This involves creating VM-ready, self-contained artifacts, mapping every claim to a specific script, and defining clear reproducibility levels (Turnkey, Scripted) to satisfy conference requirements.

A comprehensive guide detailing the complex submission and evaluation pipeline for TACAS (Tools and Algorithms for Scientific Applications). It models key features such as category-specific blind review, the mandatory parallel artifact evaluation for tool papers, and the single-round conference decision-making process, helping authors strategically prepare their submissions.

This guide details the structured process for drafting a comprehensive response and rebuttal letter after a The Accounting Review (TAR) revise-and-resubmit cycle. It covers how to address point-by-point reviewer comments, reconcile conflicting demands, and address key methodological concerns like identification, contribution, and data authenticity, ensuring the revised submission is professional and robust.

This guide provides a strategic framework for drafting author responses to challenging peer reviews in academic conferences. It teaches authors how to structure replies by addressing four key axes (Correctness, Novelty, Backing, Clarity), ensuring technical precision, maintaining anonymity, and framing commitments that survive the subsequent Area Chair (AC) discussion phase.

A comprehensive guide for producing the mandatory supplementary video figure for UIST submissions. This material treats the 3-minute video as core evidence, detailing requirements for resolution (1080p/4K), codec (H.264), and anonymity. It guides authors on scripting the video around key claims, ensuring uncut interaction loops, and maintaining academic rigor to convince reviewers of the system's reality.

This comprehensive guide provides an end-to-end planning framework for USENIX Security Symposium submissions. It assists researchers in selecting the optimal submission cycle, mapping backward timelines from key milestones (like registration), assigning ownership for venue-specific risks (e.g., ethics, reproducibility), and coordinating through the complex post-submission decision process (Accept/Reject).

This guide details best practices for achieving high standards of reproducibility in visual analytics papers, focusing on open materials, verifiable code, and rigorous documentation. It covers mapping figures to data sources, preregistering studies, documenting data provenance, and defining the level of reproducibility achieved (e.g., turnkey, scripted).

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting to major conferences (like WACV). It details how to properly split content between the main 8-page paper body and the supplementary material. Key focus areas include maintaining double-blind anonymity, structuring evidence for reviewers, and ensuring consistency across multiple revision rounds.

Comprehensive guide detailing the end-to-end academic submission workflow for the WACV conference. This specialized workflow accounts for the two-round submission model, including key branching points like Round 1 reviews, optional rebuttals, Revise-and-Resubmit stages, Round 2 revisions, and final camera-ready preparation, which single-deadline plans often miss.

A comprehensive guide to structuring and writing academic papers for WACV, focusing on maximizing acceptance rates. It details the critical differences between writing for 'Applications' vs. 'Algorithms' tracks, ensuring the first page immediately captures reviewer attention. Key advice includes adhering to the strict 8-page budget, making figures self-contained, scoping all claims precisely, and moving excessive detail to supplements.
