Skill UI

This advanced skill provides end-to-end management for external local counsel on multi-jurisdiction legal matters. It guides the entire process—from firm selection and engagement setup (including instruction design) through performance monitoring, scope enforcement, and relationship escalation. The focus is on the coordination discipline of Legal Project Management (LPM) to prevent common failure modes like scope creep and ambiguous instructions.

This skill is designed for in-house legal operations teams managing outside counsel. It executes the full lifecycle of external engagement, covering matter allocation (matching the right firm by practice area and jurisdiction), drafting detailed matter instructions (scope, budget, timeline), generating firm onboarding checklists (conflict clearance, e-billing setup), and auditing existing instructions for gaps. It streamlines the entire process from selection to execution.

This skill assists in legal workflows by systematically screening Non-Disclosure Agreements (NDAs). It evaluates structural components, confidentiality definitions, acceptable carveouts, and problematic clauses to classify the risk level (GREEN, YELLOW, RED). It guides legal teams on whether an NDA is standard, needs review, or requires full counsel intervention.

This tool simulates an experienced opposing counsel, providing a deep, adversarial analysis of legal arguments, submissions, or statements. It goes beyond mere critique, generating a six-part structure: a core theory of attack, structural deconstruction, primary lines of flaw (e.g., evidential gaps, legal misstatements), and high-impact points for oral submissions. Ideal for stress-testing legal writing before litigation.

This skill reviews outside legal counsel invoices and associated billing data, including LEDES exports, OCGs, approved rates, and budgets. It assesses compliance against internal rules and benchmarks spend, staffing, and law firm performance. Users can generate comprehensive management reports, scorecards, and dispute logs for in-house legal departments.

This skill assists in-house legal teams in architecting external counsel panels. It helps define optimal panel structures, establish weighted selection criteria for law firms, and perform right-sourcing analyses (tiering). Users can assess coverage gaps, optimize legal spend, and transform informal vendor relationships into strategic, data-driven frameworks, ensuring cost efficiency and strategic alignment.

This skill guides in-house legal teams through the full lifecycle management of external counsel panels. It produces comprehensive reports covering panel health assessment, identifying coverage gaps (practice area, jurisdiction, tier), managing firm exits with formal documentation, and scoping renewal processes (Panel Refresh Brief) for RFPs, ensuring optimal legal resource allocation and governance.

This skill provides a comprehensive framework for in-house legal teams to evaluate the performance of outside counsel. It guides the creation of a detailed scorecard, structures post-matter feedback forms, prepares Quarterly Business Review (QBR) materials, and generates comparative firm scorecards, allowing for data-driven panel decision-making.

A comprehensive skill for in-house legal teams to manage the entire lifecycle of selecting outside counsel. Users can draft structured Requests for Proposals (RFPs), evaluate complex firm submissions against weighted criteria, and produce a defensible, actionable shortlisting recommendation for General Counsel sign-off. Supports panel refreshes, matter-specific pitches, and market checks.

This advanced skill stress-tests legal submissions, motions, or arguments by generating an adversarial critique that survives multiple layers of challenge. It goes beyond superficial attacks, ensuring every point is load-bearing and defensible against a single-sentence reply. Ideal for red-teaming, stress-testing, or refining arguments to withstand rigorous scrutiny.

Drafting settlement letters requires choosing the correct legal footing (Open, WP, or WPSATC) to ensure the material is protected from disclosure while retaining necessary legal flexibility. This skill drafts the letter, applies the correct headers, and critically surfaces key exceptions (like the Unilever exceptions) where 'Without Prejudice' privilege may fail, ensuring the drafted document is legally sound for junior and in-house counsel.

This tool assists arbitration counsel and selection teams in researching investor-State dispute settlement (ISDS) arbitrators. It summarizes arbitrator experience based on primary documents and helps shortlist candidates for specific cases. Features include profile generation, issue track records, and verification of appointments and dissents. Grounded in UNCTAD and ICSID data, it supports decision-making without providing legal advice.
