A comprehensive guide detailing the rigorous standards and evaluation process for submissions to Public Administration Review (PAR). It covers double-blind peer review, initial desk screening criteria (fit, scope, practice-relevance), the decision spectrum (reject to accept), and the crucial requirement of Evidence for Practice. Use this guide to stress-test your manuscript and shape your paper to meet high academic and practical scholarly expectations.

This skill guides researchers through the rigorous process of evaluating if their public administration project meets the standards of high-impact academic journals like the Public Administration Review (PAR). It ensures the work not only advances scholarly theory but also delivers actionable, credible 'evidence for practice' for real-world public managers and policymakers. Essential for refining scope and target venue.

A comprehensive guide and heuristic tool for assessing whether an academic manuscript is suitable for high-level public administration and policy journals, specifically referencing Public Administration and Policy Review. It details required scope, suitable methodologies (e.g., policy evaluation, case studies, mixed methods), structural requirements (anonymity, abstract formatting), and common rejection pitfalls to guide authors toward rigorous academic writing.

This skill provides a comprehensive framework for assessing whether an economics manuscript is suitable for the Quarterly Journal of Economics (QJE). It guides authors through evaluating the research scope (must be general-interest), evidence quality (requires clean natural experiments or quasi-experimental designs), narrative structure (leading with consequential findings), and adherence to rigorous academic submission standards.

This tool guides authors writing on industrial organization, market structure, regulation, and antitrust. It provides a rigorous framework for evaluating whether a manuscript meets the high standards of top-tier IO journals by assessing theoretical models, empirical identification, and policy significance. Use it for venue selection and manuscript re-framing.

A comprehensive guide on preparing and structuring evidence packages for recommender system research, especially for academic submissions. It details how to ensure that all ranking claims, off-policy estimates, and evaluation metrics are end-to-end reproducible by providing artifacts like datasets, split scripts, model checkpoints, and propensity logs in an anonymous, verifiable repository.

A comprehensive framework for designing, auditing, and reporting empirical results in recommender systems research. It covers best practices for handling temporal splits, mitigating evaluation bias (e.g., exposure/popularity), utilizing advanced off-policy estimators (IPS, SNIPS), and structuring the critical link between offline metrics and real-world A/B test results. Essential for academic submissions.

A comprehensive guide for structuring the Related Work section for top-tier recommender systems conferences (RecSys). It advises authors on auditing novelty by positioning their contribution against adjacent research fields (e.g., SIGIR, KDD, WSDM), addressing critical lines (like reproducibility and off-policy evaluation), and ensuring the work is technically distinct from prior or concurrent studies.

A comprehensive guide to the rigorous academic peer review process, exemplified by top-tier Recommender Systems conferences (RecSys). It details the double-blind review mechanics, key evaluation criteria (novelty, validity, reproducibility), the critical rebuttal phase, and the requirements for final publication in ACM Digital Library. Essential for researchers and students aiming to improve academic submission quality.

A comprehensive guide for revising academic papers in recommendation systems (RecSys). It covers best practices for structuring the first page, ensuring rigorous evaluation protocols (e.g., temporal splits, equal-budget baselines), and avoiding methodological overclaims, helping authors meet the standards of top-tier AI conferences.

This tool guides authors in evaluating whether a physics review manuscript is suitable for the Reports on Progress in Physics (RoPP) journal. It provides comprehensive details on the journal's required scope, expected depth of critical synthesis, methodological standards, and official submission guidelines, ensuring the work meets the high academic bar of an authoritative progress report.

A specialized tool designed to help academic researchers evaluate the suitability of their manuscripts for the 'Research and Development Management' journal. It analyzes the paper's fit, theoretical framing, structural requirements, and potential weaknesses against the journal's focus on enterprise-level innovation mechanisms, knowledge management, and academic rigor. It simulates the journal's editorial review process.
