A comprehensive guide to understanding the peer review process for top-tier machine learning conferences like ICML. It helps authors and researchers diagnose potential decision issues, analyze reviewer critiques along dimensions (e.g., soundness, originality), and formulate strategic responses to maximize acceptance chances. Covers OpenReview features, AC meta-review synthesis, and ethical policy considerations.

A comprehensive guide for researchers deciding the best venue for their machine learning manuscript. It helps evaluate whether a paper is a strong fit for ICML, or if it should be rerouted to specialized tracks, other top-tier conferences (NeurIPS, ICLR), or academic journals based on its core contribution type (theory, method, application) and novelty.

This comprehensive guide teaches researchers how to structure and refine machine learning papers for top-tier conferences like ICML. It focuses on achieving clarity, soundness, originality, and significance within strict page limits, providing actionable strategies to ensure the research withstands rigorous reviewer scrutiny.

A comprehensive guide for authors writing in computer vision, pattern recognition, or machine learning methods. This skill helps authors evaluate whether their manuscript meets the high methodological rigor, archival standards, and specific formatting requirements of IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence (TPAMI). It covers scope fit, evidence bar, structure, and pre-submission checklists.

A comprehensive guide for authors structuring signal processing manuscripts for top-tier venues like IEEE Transactions on Signal Processing. It details the necessary theoretical depth, the requirement for rigorous analysis (e.g., convergence, bounds), correct baseline selection, and adherence to specific academic formatting. This tool helps authors reframe general machine learning applications into rigorous, theory-driven scientific methods.

This guide provides rigorous methodology for authors submitting security and machine learning research to top conferences. It emphasizes the need to 'freeze the world' of measurement by pinning target versions, microarchitectural states, and network conditions. It details how to report probabilistic evidence (like attack success rates) and manage ethical data release, ensuring findings remain valid and verifiable over time.

This skill helps authors evaluate whether their research—particularly in algorithms, optimization, or machine learning for Operations Research (OR)—meets the high computational standards required by the INFORMS Journal on Computing (IJOC). It acts as a fit/venue-selection tool, guiding authors on methodological rigor, computational evidence, and structuring their submission to maximize acceptance chances.

This resource guides authors on positioning their research for the International Conference on Automated Machine Learning (AutoML). It helps evaluate if a manuscript—especially those involving NAS, HPO, or meta-learning—is a suitable fit for the venue. The focus is on framing contributions that enhance the automated search process, robust methodologies, and system pipelines, rather than solely relying on final leaderboard scores.

This guide provides a comprehensive framework for authors targeting elite AI/ML conferences like ICML. It covers academic positioning, identifying core ML contributions, structuring the narrative (Problem, Why Now, What is New), and establishing a rigorous evidence bar, including baselines and ablations. It also advises on distinguishing the work from closely related venues (e.g., NeurIPS, ICLR).

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting the International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR). This skill helps evaluate if a manuscript fits the venue's scope, covering core topics like pattern recognition, computer vision, biometrics, and machine learning. It details necessary framing, evidence requirements (e.g., ablations, limitations), and how to differentiate the work from similar top-tier conferences (e.g., CVPR, ICML).

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting the International Journal of Machine Tools and Manufacture (IJMTM). This skill helps assess the fit of a manuscript, ensuring the work elevates beyond simple parameter optimization to provide a deep, mechanistic, and quantitative understanding of manufacturing processes, machine-tool dynamics, and metrology. Essential for framing high-impact scientific contributions.

This guide provides a structured protocol for authors writing methods papers in statistics or econometrics. It teaches how to define the precise 'delta' (incremental contribution) of a new method by explicitly referencing 3-6 existing state-of-the-art techniques. It emphasizes positioning the work across both traditional econometric theory and modern machine learning/data science literature, ensuring the contribution is clearly stated against named prior methods, not as a general survey.
