A rigorous decision-making methodology that quantifies the trade-offs when allocating scarce resources (time, budget, attention). Instead of merely evaluating a chosen path, this framework forces the user to identify the single best alternative forgone, calculating the net value delta (chosen value minus best forgone value). It is essential for feature prioritization, major commitments, and strategic planning to prevent decisions based solely on immediate perceived gains.

A rigorous methodology for debugging complex anomalies or incidents when multiple plausible causes exist. It guides the user to enumerate competing, falsifiable hypotheses and prioritizes running the cheapest, most discriminating observation first. By iteratively eliminating hypotheses and preferring the least-assumptive survivor, it systematically localizes the root cause efficiently.

This methodology guides users to ask critical, load-bearing questions when faced with ambiguous, vague, or assumption-laden requirements. It helps surface hidden requirements and undefined terms, ensuring that the development process is based on explicit, agreed-upon facts rather than guesswork. Use it to define the true problem and scope before committing to a solution.

A comprehensive methodology for diagnosing complex systems where problems are emergent across multiple components. It guides the user to map system boundaries, stocks and flows, feedback loops, and underlying structural drivers. By identifying the highest feasible leverage point, it recommends structural interventions that address root causes rather than superficial symptoms.

This methodology provides a structured approach to identifying the single binding constraint (bottleneck) that limits overall system throughput or increases latency. Rather than attempting local optimization everywhere, users must systematically apply the six steps (Exploit, Subordinate, Elevate, etc.) to focus efforts on the most critical choke point, ensuring efficient resource allocation across complex workflows.

This methodology allows engineers and analysts to conduct controlled counterfactual simulations when real-world testing (such as catastrophic failures, extreme load, or irreversible changes) is too rare, costly, or impossible. By isolating a single variable and tracing the mechanistic chain step-by-step, it helps surface critical system breakpoints, invariants, and necessary controls before deployment.

A systematic methodology for resolving deeply conflicting technical requirements (e.g., needing a system to be both fast and consistent). Instead of accepting a midpoint compromise or trade-off, TRIZ instructs users to name the conflict, separate the opposing states (using time, space, condition, or scale), and invent a concrete, no-compromise resolution. Ideal for architecture, API design, and complex system parameter definition.

Methodology for configuring legal matter collaboration platforms: site architecture, workflow identification, dashboard design, data quality governance and user adoption for SharePoint, Teams and equivalent platforms.

A verification-first methodology for citing documents from the Extraordinary African Chambers (EAC) in Senegal, which tried Chadian ex-President Hissène Habré. Covers key decisions, universal jurisdiction, reparations to 7,396 victims, and trusted sources. Supports legal research, not legal advice.

Verification-first methodology for legal research on the Extraordinary Chambers in the Courts of Cambodia (ECCC). Ensures every citation is verified against authoritative sources such as eccc.gov.kh or legal-tools.org, covering case-file numbering, chamber decisions, and Internal Rules revisions. Designed for researchers, legal professionals, and justice advocates working with ECCC records.

This skill facilitates drafting, adapting, and reviewing legal contracts and clauses to embed carbon reduction and climate objectives. It follows The Chancery Lane Project's methodology, providing guidance on net-zero commitments, carbon accounting, supply chain decarbonization, and enforceable green financing terms. Ideal for legal professionals ensuring commercial agreements align with global climate goals.

This skill provides a rigorous, verification-first methodology for all research concerning the Special Criminal Court (CPS) of the Central African Republic. It details the proper steps, fallback sources, and foundational legal texts required to cite judgments, decisions, and procedural documents accurately, ensuring compliance with international criminal justice standards and proper citation protocol.
