A comprehensive guide for authors preparing manuscripts for submission to the International Economic Review (IER). It teaches authors how to anticipate the rigorous objections of expert referees across various archetypes (theory, econometrics, micro, empirical). Users learn the pre-mortem process to identify weak assumptions, strengthen identification arguments, and structure the cover letter to maximize the paper's chances of acceptance.

A comprehensive guide for quantitative economists to assess if a research topic meets the 'rigor and generality' standards of the International Economic Review (IER). It helps users determine the scope of their contribution, matching it against archetypes like pure theory, structural macro, econometrics, and causal micro, ensuring the work has broad appeal beyond a specific field.

This comprehensive skill is a guide for authors to assess if their Information Systems (IS) manuscript is suitable for the prestigious Information Systems Research (ISR) journal. It analyzes the journal's rigorous requirements, including the need for genuine IS theoretical contributions, quantitative methodology (econometrics, analytical modeling), and adherence to specific submission standards. It functions as a pre-submission checklist and re-framing tool, helping authors understand the required depth in theory, evidence, and structure before targeting the venue.

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting the International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR). This skill helps evaluate if a manuscript fits the venue's scope, covering core topics like pattern recognition, computer vision, biometrics, and machine learning. It details necessary framing, evidence requirements (e.g., ablations, limitations), and how to differentiate the work from similar top-tier conferences (e.g., CVPR, ICML).

This comprehensive skill guides authors through evaluating if their technically rigorous economics manuscript (covering theory, econometrics, or macroeconomics) is suitable for the International Economic Review (IER). It analyzes the paper's formal contribution, methodological rigor, generalizability, and adherence to high academic standards, helping authors refine their work before submission.

A comprehensive guide for researchers targeting the International Natural Language Generation Conference (INLG). This tool helps authors refine their manuscript by providing specific architectural advice on framing the contribution, establishing necessary evidence (e.g., rigorous evaluation, controllability metrics), and positioning the work correctly against related fields like dialogue and LLM generation. It ensures the paper meets the high standards expected by top NLP venues.

This comprehensive guide outlines best practices for designing, evaluating, and reporting experimental results in speech processing research (ASR, TTS, Speaker Verification, etc.). It details required metrics (WER, MOS, EER), establishing robust baselines, conducting significance testing (bootstrap, CI), and ensuring comprehensive condition coverage (speakers, noise, languages) to enhance the scientific rigor of academic submissions.

A comprehensive guide for researchers submitting to major speech conferences (like INTERSPEECH). It details how to harden the reproducibility of speech results, covering crucial 'decay channels' such as corpus versions, text normalization rules (WER), objective metrics (EER), subjective protocols (MOS), and model stochasticity. The guide emphasizes pinning specific toolkits, commit hashes, configurations, and hardware details to ensure scientific rigor and verifiability.

A comprehensive guide for authors revising technical papers for top-tier conferences like ISSTA. It details the necessary structure, emphasizing strict scope definition, establishing clear evaluation contracts (subjects, baselines, metrics), pairing every claim with concrete evidence, and adhering to specialized review discipline.

A guide for authors submitting to theoretical computer science venues (ITCS). It strictly defines what constitutes valid evidence for a mathematical claim, emphasizing that complete proofs are paramount. The guidelines detail how to use worked examples, separating objects, and appropriately scoped computations, while strongly advising against using empirical benchmarks or performance metrics.

A comprehensive framework for conducting rigorous empirical data analysis required for top-tier academic journals. It guides users through building transparent archival samples, specifying appropriate panel data estimators (like firm/year fixed effects), ensuring correct standard error clustering, and executing sophisticated identification strategies (e.g., Difference-in-Differences, Instrumental Variables). Essential for addressing endogeneity and passing deep reviewer scrutiny.

This comprehensive router guides researchers through the entire process of developing, analyzing, and submitting a manuscript to the Journal of Accounting and Economics (JAE). It provides a structured roadmap, helping users determine the next critical step—from initial topic selection and theory development to advanced econometrics, contribution framing, and final submission preparation. It ensures that the work maintains a rigorous, economics-based argument using archival data, preventing common pitfalls like vague ideas or insufficient identification strategies.
