This skill guides developers on migrating their codebase from direct OpenAI API calls to using OpenRouter. By making minimal changes—primarily updating the base URL and API key—users gain access to over 400 models from multiple providers (including Anthropic and Google) through a unified SDK interface, ensuring high compatibility and flexible model switching.

This comprehensive guide provides developers with step-by-step instructions for migrating applications from direct calls to proprietary Large Language Model (LLM) APIs (such as OpenAI or Anthropic) to utilizing the unified OpenRouter gateway. It details essential code changes, including updating base URLs, managing API keys, adding custom headers, and correctly prefixing model identifiers. This ensures a seamless transition, enabling multi-model compatibility and simplified API management.

This guide details the process of migrating search and LLM functionalities from legacy APIs (Google CSE, Bing, SerpAPI) to Perplexity Sonar. It demonstrates how to utilize the Strangler Fig pattern to build a robust adapter layer. The primary benefit is consolidating a complex, multi-step pipeline (Search -> Raw Results -> LLM Summarization) into a single, efficient API call, ensuring automatic citation handling and streamlined development.

This comprehensive guide assists developers in migrating their code and API calls when Perplexity updates its model generations or changes API parameters. It provides a clear map from legacy models (pplx-api) to the current Sonar family (sonar, sonar-pro), covering model name changes, base URL updates, parameter adjustments, and SDK upgrade steps. Use this guide whenever you encounter deprecation warnings or need to ensure compatibility with the latest Perplexity Sonar models.

This comprehensive guide outlines the process of migrating analytics data from major platforms like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, Amplitude, or Segment to PostHog. It covers implementing a dual-write strategy, mapping historical event names and properties, and performing bulk historical data imports, ensuring a smooth transition and data continuity.

A comprehensive guide for safely upgrading PostHog SDKs (for JavaScript and Node.js). This resource details critical breaking changes across major versions, such as the explicit requirement for `sendFeatureFlags` in v5.x and the new structured autocapture API for PostHog.js. It provides a structured, step-by-step procedure covering version auditing, code modification, testing, staging validation, and rollback plan.

A comprehensive guide for migrating existing applications from platforms like Heroku, Railway, Vercel, and local development environments to Replit. It covers critical steps such as converting configuration files (Procfile to .replit), adapting to Replit's Nix-based system, and performing database migrations (PostgreSQL, MongoDB). Essential for developers upgrading or moving their deployment stack.

This comprehensive guide outlines the necessary steps for major Replit environment upgrades and data migration. It covers updating Nix channels, upgrading runtimes (Node.js, Python), and migrating critical data from Replit KV databases to PostgreSQL or Object Storage. It also details switching between deployment types, ensuring a smooth and stable transition for production applications.

This comprehensive guide provides a phased strategy for migrating error tracking services from legacy tools like Rollbar, Bugsnag, or New Relic to Sentry. It covers crucial steps including concept mapping between diverse providers, implementing safe parallel reporting (dual-write), validating data parity via API comparison, and performing the final cutover to ensure continuous monitoring and zero downtime.

This skill guides developers through major Sentry SDK version upgrades (e.g., v7 to v8, Python v1 to v2). It helps detect deprecated APIs, runs automated codemods (like @sentry/migr8), and applies manual fixes for breaking changes, ensuring a smooth transition while maintaining robust error tracking and observability.

Analyzes existing Rails applications to provide a comprehensive and detailed upgrade assessment. This tool checks current gem and JavaScript dependencies, compares the running version against the latest stable release, fetches official upgrade guides, and generates diff reports. It assesses upgrade complexity (Small, Medium, Large) to ensure smooth and safe version migration for Ruby on Rails projects.

This guide provides a comprehensive deep dive for migrating language learning platforms, covering everything from importing student progress to transitioning from legacy speech APIs. It details configuration using modern SDKs, integrating services like OpenAI's GPT-4o and Whisper, and includes verification steps. It is essential for managing complex platform migrations and ensuring a smooth operational transition.
