A comprehensive workflow and deep technical guide for analyzing malicious Linux ELF binaries. Covers static analysis (reading ELF headers, checking entropy, identifying strings), dynamic tracing (monitoring system calls and library usage with strace/ltrace), and reverse engineering (using GDB) of threats like ransomware, botnets, and rootkits targeting Linux servers and containers (x86_64, ARM).

Finds over-permissive RBAC roles and service-account token abuse paths in a Kubernetes cluster using kubectl auth can-i, rbac-police, kubectl-who-can, and rakkess, tracing which subjects can escalate toward cluster-admin. Use when reviewing who can escalate privileges in a cluster, hunting exploitable RoleBindings during an authorized review, or validating least privilege after an RBAC change.

Install and run kube-bench to audit Kubernetes against the CIS Benchmark. Supports standalone, container, Job, or DaemonSet modes; auto-selects benchmark version and scans control plane, etcd, kubelet, nodes, and policies. Outputs text, JSON, JUnit, or ASFF for CI pipelines and compliance.

Deploy and operate Falco with the modern eBPF driver in Kubernetes and Docker. Covers driver selection, Helm installation, output channels, and the built-in ruleset that detects container escape, namespace abuse, privileged mounts, and anomalous syscalls. Ideal for enabling runtime security, routing alerts to SIEM or Falcosidekick, and upgrading existing deployments.

Stratus Red Team is an open-source tool for detection engineering and purple teaming. It atomistically detonates granular, MITRE ATT&CK-mapped offensive techniques across AWS, Azure, GCP, and Kubernetes. The tool executes a full, repeatable lifecycle (warmup, detonate, revert, cleanup) to generate realistic attacker telemetry. Use it to validate if cloud security tools (like CloudTrail or Sentinel) reliably trigger on simulated attacks, or to safely practice red teaming.

A specialized, read-only tool designed for penetration testing and red teaming. It performs comprehensive enumeration across AWS and Azure, allowing users to build a deep situational awareness of an environment. Key functions include identifying internet-exposed endpoints, retrieving sensitive secrets, and mapping critical trust relationships (like sts:AssumeRole) necessary for planning lateral movement or privilege escalation.

A comprehensive red-teaming technique for Active Directory Certificate Services (AD CS). This skill utilizes the Certipy toolkit to enumerate and exploit various Certificate Service Configuration (ESC1-ESC16) misconfigurations over LDAP/RPC. It enables attackers to forge privileged certificates and perform PKINIT authentication, escalating a low-level domain foothold to Domain Admin or Domain Controller access during authorized penetration tests.

A comprehensive framework for authorized AWS penetration testing and red-teaming. This skill automates end-to-end cloud exploitation using Pacu, covering session management, deep IAM enumeration, automated privilege escalation scanning, and establishing persistence backdoors. It is designed to assess the full blast radius of compromised cloud credentials.

NetExec is a comprehensive, multi-protocol tool designed for authorized penetration testing and red-teaming. It functions as a 'swiss-army knife' for assessing Windows, Active Directory, and Linux environments. Key capabilities include validating credentials, performing password spraying, enumerating network shares, executing commands across multiple protocols (SMB, WinRM, LDAP, MSSQL, SSH), and dumping critical credentials (SAM, LSA, NTDS). It directly supports techniques for lateral movement and post-exploitation activities.

Trivy is an open-source, comprehensive security scanner designed for DevSecOps. It assesses container images, Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform, K8s), filesystems, and SBOMs for vulnerabilities (CVEs), misconfigurations, hardcoded secrets, and license compliance. It is essential for implementing 'shift-left' security gates in CI/CD pipelines, ensuring that code and infrastructure are secure before deployment.

Detailed methods for red-teaming and penetration testing of LLM applications. This skill extracts sensitive system prompts, secrets, and embedded logic using advanced techniques like jailbreaking, encoding tricks, and automated scanners (Garak, Promptfoo), ensuring compliance with OWASP LLM07:2025.

This tool diagnoses and validates complex cron expressions (e.g., crontab, Kubernetes CronJob) to prevent silent scheduling failures. It identifies five common pitfalls: impossible dates, misunderstood OR semantics, resource spikes, uneven step drift, and leap year issues. Users can check the syntax, understand the true meaning, and calculate future execution times reliably.
