This guide outlines the mandatory data and code deposit policy for articles published in the Journal of Applied Econometrics (JAE). Authors must submit a complete, non-confidential set of input data (plain ASCII/CSV), programs that replicate every result, and a detailed README file. It emphasizes strict adherence to archival format rules, ensuring the research is fully reproducible for the academic community.

A comprehensive guide for executing and reporting the full empirical robustness battery required by top accounting journals. It covers modern econometric techniques like standard error clustering, advanced Difference-in-Differences (DiD) estimators for staggered timing, Regression Discontinuity (RD) diagnostics, and Instrumental Variables (IV/2SLS). The guide emphasizes rigorous validation of accounting constructs, executing multiple sensitivity tests, and ensuring full data-and-code reproducibility for academic publication.

This comprehensive pre-submission checklist guides authors through the mandatory requirements for publishing in the Journal of Accounting Research (JAR). It covers critical areas such as double-anonymization protocols, tiered submission fee compliance, selecting the correct article type, and assembling the required data-and-code package, ensuring the manuscript meets high academic publishing standards before final submission.

A comprehensive preflight checklist designed for submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Business & Economic Statistics (JBES). This guide ensures authors have verified all necessary components—including the data/code supplement, conflict disclosures, and cover letter targeting—against the latest academic standards. It functions as a critical final review step before formal submission, emphasizing the need to cross-reference live journal guidelines.

This guide provides best practices for preparing code, data, and supporting artifacts for academic submissions, focusing on achieving reproducibility for peer review (especially in double-blind settings). It covers crucial steps including artifact anonymization, establishing clear data availability statements, structuring the repository (README, env, data, src), ensuring licensing compliance, and planning for permanent post-acceptance archiving.

A comprehensive guide for assembling a complete and reproducible materials package for experimental economics research, specifically for JEBO submissions. It details required components, including participant instructions, z-Tree/oTree code, anonymized raw data, detailed analysis scripts, and environment specifications, ensuring rigorous academic reproducibility.

Provides a comprehensive preflight checklist for submitting academic manuscripts to high-tier journals (e.g., JEP). This guide details essential requirements such as APA 7th edition formatting, word count limits, masked anonymity, and mandatory transparency reporting (data/code DOIs). It is crucial for ensuring submissions meet strict scholarly standards before final upload.

A comprehensive guide for assembling the required data and code replication package for manuscripts submitted to the Journal of the European Economic Association (JEEA). This package ensures compliance with the DCAS standard, enabling the journal's Data Editor to verify the reproducibility of empirical, simulation, or experimental results before formal acceptance. It outlines the mandatory structure, README contents, and execution steps.

A comprehensive guide for polishing academic manuscripts intended for the Journal of Economic Growth (JEG). It instructs authors on structuring arguments around core growth mechanisms, translating raw econometric coefficients into meaningful growth language (e.g., convergence, productivity), and applying specific metadata and citation standards (APA, JEL codes) required by top-tier journals in development economics.

This guide teaches researchers how to accurately assign JEL (Journal of Economic Literature) classification codes to academic surveys. It details the three-level taxonomy structure, guiding users to select the primary field code, relevant method codes, and adjacent subject codes to ensure proper indexing and scope mapping within the American Economic Association's subject map.

This guide outlines a systematic methodology for gathering, reading, and synthesizing large bodies of academic research for comprehensive economic surveys (JEL style). It moves beyond simple summarization by enforcing structured data collection into a detailed evidence matrix. The process ensures maximum coverage through advanced search techniques (e.g., snowballing, JEL code sweeps) and focuses on synthesizing connections, identifying consensus, and articulating scholarly tensions across different studies.

This tool provides a comprehensive pre-submission checklist designed for authors submitting survey papers (either a proposal or a full draft) to the Journal of Economic Literature (JEL) via the AEA portal. It ensures compliance by verifying JEL codes, disclosure statements, data availability, and adherence to style guides, helping authors finalize their submission package.
