Guide for performing Android and iOS mobile application penetration testing with OWASP MASTG/MASVS, covering static/dynamic analysis, data storage checks, API abuse, and runtime manipulation using Frida, Objection, and MobSF.

A specialized tool/methodology to detect Broken Object Property Level Authorization (BOPLA), covering two critical OWASP API security flaws: Excessive Data Exposure and Mass Assignment. Use this when auditing APIs to ensure that data returned in responses is limited to only what the client needs, and that updates/writes are strictly filtered to prevent attackers from modifying unauthorized object properties.

This tool analyzes Web Application Firewall (WAF) logs (ModSecurity, AWS WAF, Cloudflare) to detect sophisticated SQL injection attack campaigns. It parses diverse log formats, identifies common SQLi payloads (UNION SELECT, OR 1=1), correlates multi-stage attacks, tracks source IPs, and generates detailed incident reports classified by OWASP standards for SOC analysts and security researchers.

A comprehensive tool for testing API parameters, headers, and request bodies against various injection flaws, including SQL injection, NoSQL injection, OS command injection, LDAP injection, and SSRF. It assesses input validation and security posture according to OWASP guidelines. Use only for authorized penetration testing.

This script automates the detection and exploitation of Broken Function Level Authorization (BFLA) in APIs, following OWASP API Top 10 guidelines. It simulates low-privilege users attempting to access or modify restricted administrative endpoints (e.g., user management, system settings) using techniques like role switching, path manipulation, and parameter tampering. Essential for assessing vertical privilege escalation risks and verifying robust Role-Based Access Control (RBAC).

A specialized security testing skill designed to identify excessive data exposure in REST or GraphQL APIs, adhering to OWASP API3:2023 guidelines. It works by intercepting raw API responses and systematically comparing the returned data against what the frontend UI actually displays. This helps auditors detect leaked PII, internal identifiers, debug fields, or other sensitive business data that should have been filtered out by the endpoint response. Use cases include auditing microservice boundaries, assessing mobile API responses designed for multiple clients, and verifying proper respons...

This skill provides a comprehensive guide for identifying and exploiting insecure local data storage vulnerabilities in Android and iOS applications. It covers analyzing plaintext credentials, unencrypted SQLite databases, insecure SharedPreferences, and improper keychain/keystore usage. Essential for performing robust mobile penetration testing focused on OWASP M9.

This skill implements comprehensive API security testing using the 42Crunch platform. It combines static analysis (API Audit) on OpenAPI definitions, dynamic vulnerability scanning (API Conformance Scan) against running APIs, and runtime threat protection. Ideal for integrating OWASP API Security Top 10 checks into CI/CD pipelines and IDEs, enabling 'shift-left' security practices.

This guide details implementing comprehensive API security using Google Apigee. It covers multiple advanced policies, including JSON/XML content validation, regex injection detection (SQLi, XSS), rate limiting (SpikeArrest), and robust OAuth 2.0 enforcement. Use this when shielding critical APIs from OWASP API Top 10 threats and malicious client abuse patterns.

This skill covers the deployment and fine-tuning of Web Application Firewall (WAF) rules across major cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, and Cloudflare. It addresses critical security needs such as mitigating OWASP vulnerabilities (SQLi, XSS), managing bot traffic, implementing rate limiting, and ensuring compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS). The workflow guides users through deploying managed rule sets, creating custom rate-based logic, and minimizing false positives.

Automates comprehensive security scanning by integrating SAST (Semgrep), DAST (OWASP ZAP), SCA (Trivy), and secrets detection (Gitleaks) into CI/CD pipelines. This solution helps organizations shift security left, detect vulnerabilities early, and meet strict compliance mandates such as SOC 2, PCI-DSS, and ISO 27001.

Learn how to implement Runtime Application Self-Protection (RASP) agents for Java and Python web applications. This skill covers deploying OpenRASP, detecting OWASP Top 10 attacks (SQLi, XSS, RCE), configuring security policies, and integrating real-time security alerts with SIEM platforms for comprehensive defense in depth.
