A comprehensive strategy guide for authors preparing manuscripts for the ACM Symposium on Theory of Computing (STOC). It helps researchers determine the ideal fit, required evidence bar, and narrative framing for major theoretical contributions in algorithms, complexity, cryptography, and theoretical computer science.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting academic papers to the ACM Symposium on Virtual Reality Software and Technology (VRST). This resource helps determine conference fit, frame the research contribution, and outlines the specific evidence (software, performance, immersive systems) required to meet the stringent standards of top-tier immersive computing venues.

This comprehensive guide details the essential steps required to transition an accepted, anonymous conference paper into the final, public 'camera-ready' version for major academic publications like ACM MM. It covers de-anonymization, completing ACM eRights forms, incorporating CCS concepts, releasing permanent code/data artifacts, and preparing for the final presentation.

This comprehensive guide provides stringent methodological standards for authors submitting papers to ACM Multimedia (ACM MM). It details how to rigorously validate cross-modal claims, ensuring that evidence supports the multimedia contributions. Key areas covered include designing ablations to isolate fusion mechanisms, conducting robust user studies, reporting performance against matched baselines, and maintaining transparency regarding datasets, media licenses, and compute costs.

A comprehensive guide for authors writing the Related Work section of ACM Multimedia papers. It teaches how to position cross-modal contributions by covering diverse single-modality shelves (Vision, Audio, Language, HCI), tracing the cross-modal lineage, defining the specific cross-disciplinary novelty (delta), and adhering to academic hygiene standards like double-blinding and venue verification.

A comprehensive checklist for auditing academic submissions to ACM Multimedia (ACM MM). Covers thematic area selection, formatting constraints (6-8 page limit), enforcing double-blind anonymity, managing OpenReview mechanics, and identifying common desk-reject triggers. Essential for authors preparing technical papers for top-tier conferences.

A comprehensive guide for revising technical papers submitted to ACM Multimedia (ACM MM). It teaches authors how to shift focus from single-modality benchmarks to cross-modal fusion mechanisms, ensuring all media elements (figures, audio, video) function as direct evidence. The guide emphasizes structuring the argument within a tight 6-8 page conference limit, making the multimedia contribution visible from page one.

This comprehensive guide serves as a critical pre-submission checklist for academic papers targeting high-tier journals, such as *Accounting Research*. It meticulously details complex formatting conventions, including footnote practices, author-date citation styles, abstract length limits, and required article length. The guide also emphasizes critical steps like ensuring double-blind anonymity and adhering strictly to the journal's online submission system, helping authors avoid common rejection reasons related to format and identity leakage.

A comprehensive guide for structuring high-impact scientific papers in advanced materials. It teaches authors how to build a cohesive narrative around a single central scientific advance, emphasizing the crucial causal chain: Structure → Property → Function. It also provides rules for optimizing the opening paragraph to serve as a self-contained abstract.

This guide provides a comprehensive, advanced strategy for academic researchers writing microeconometric papers for top-tier journals (e.g., AEJ: Applied). It teaches authors how to anticipate sophisticated, technical objections from expert referees (such as issues with causal inference design, selection bias, or parallel trends). The focus is on pre-empting these objections by integrating solutions directly into the manuscript text, rather than waiting for a formal revision letter.

This guide provides a methodology for integrating theoretical models into empirical economics papers, especially for journals emphasizing empirical findings (e.g., AEJ: Applied). It teaches researchers how to ensure that theoretical components—such as mechanisms, welfare statements, or counterfactuals—serve to interpret, sharpen, or guide the existing empirical estimates, rather than leading the paper or replacing the core identification provided by the design. Focus on sufficient statistics and minimal model assumptions is key.

A comprehensive guide for assembling a fully reproducible research package for macroeconomics papers targeting the American Economic Journal (AEJ: Macro). It ensures compliance with the AEA Data and Code Availability Policy by documenting raw data, simulation/calibration code, estimation routines, and visualization steps, guaranteeing that results can be independently verified by reviewers.
