Skill UI

This skill provides comprehensive guidance for optimizing costs within Guidewire Cloud environments. It covers crucial areas such as rightsizing cloud compute instances, optimizing batch process scheduling to off-peak hours, reducing API call expenses through effective caching, and implementing bulk endpoints instead of individual calls. It is essential for cloud architects, DevOps engineers, and development teams managing large-scale insurance SaaS platforms.

This skill provides comprehensive data handling capabilities specifically for the Guidewire platform. It covers robust entity management (CRUD operations using Gosu), complex data migration using ETL tools and batch processing, and advanced data governance practices. Key features include implementing GDPR data purge rules and anonymization techniques for secure testing environments. Ideal for developers managing core insurance platform data.

This bundle is designed to collect comprehensive diagnostic data from the Guidewire ecosystem. It captures critical information including Cloud API responses, Gosu stack traces, server logs, OAuth token status, and batch process statuses. Use it to aid in debugging, troubleshooting, and performance analysis within Guidewire applications.

This guide provides a comprehensive setup process for Guidewire InsuranceSuite development. It covers installing Guidewire Studio, configuring secure OAuth2 authentication via Guidewire Hub, and obtaining necessary JWT tokens for connecting to core APIs like PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, and BillingCenter. Essential for developers integrating with the Guidewire platform.

This skill automates the configuration and setup of Guidewire applications across multiple environments (Development, Staging, Production). It manages configuration promotion, handles environment-specific OAuth credentials, and sets up separate integration gateway endpoints. It ensures strict data isolation, streamlining the entire CI/CD deployment process for enterprise insurance systems.

A comprehensive toolkit designed to monitor the health and performance of Guidewire InsuranceSuite. It tracks critical operational metrics including claim processing times, policy synchronization rates, billing accuracy, API latency, and batch job statuses. The system provides real-time alerting, structured logging, and health checks to maintain high service level agreements (SLAs) for complex insurance workflows.

This skill provides comprehensive guidance on optimizing Guidewire application performance. It covers advanced development techniques such as optimizing Gosu queries using the Query API, implementing efficient batch processing with BatchProcessBase, implementing caching strategies for frequently accessed reference data, and performing JVM heap tuning via the Guidewire Cloud Console (GCC). Use this when system performance bottlenecks are detected in Guidewire insurance or core business platforms.

This comprehensive checklist verifies the readiness of Guidewire Cloud for production deployment. It covers critical steps including Gosu compilation validation, GUnit test execution, API role configuration, integration gateway endpoint testing, batch process scheduling verification, and monitoring alert setup. It guides the promotion of configurations through dev, staging, and production environments via GCC.

This skill guides the complex process of upgrading Guidewire InsuranceSuite versions and migrating between cloud environments. It covers critical development lifecycle steps, including reviewing breaking changes in release notes, executing upgrade tools, merging configuration changes, rigorously testing Gosu customizations, and validating API compatibility across various environments to ensure a seamless transition.

Implements event-driven architecture by integrating Guidewire App Events and webhooks. This allows developers to build event consumers that process critical InsuranceSuite state changes—such as claim creation or policy issuance—in near-real-time, enabling robust, reactive business logic.
