Skill UI

This skill enables applying John Ousterhout's design principles to reduce complexity in software systems. It guides decisions on module boundaries, API design, information hiding, and abstraction depth. Use it when refactoring shallow interfaces or managing cognitive load during development. Ideal for architects and senior engineers optimizing system structure and ensuring maintainable codebases through proper abstraction layers.

This skill applies Refactoring.Guru-inspired rules for diagnosing code smells and selecting appropriate refactoring techniques. It helps preserve behavior while avoiding uncontrolled redesign. Before making design or code decisions, read the mini rules first. Use the full guide only as a deeper reference when needed. It ensures targeted cleanup without over-engineering.

TLC Discover transforms unshaped ideas into verdicts and design documents covering decisions, flows, and contracts. It helps teams research problems, understand feasibility, and decide whether to build before planning how. This tool prevents premature solution proposals and ensures concrete values for decisions, creating a plan anyone can follow without attending the original discussion.

Skill for designing and auditing theoretical results (propositions, theorems, equilibria, stability) for the Journal of Systems Engineering, ensuring formal results explain system mechanisms rather than merely containing formulas.

A skill for designing evidence and validation strategies for academic manuscripts submitted to the Journal of Systems Engineering. It covers standards for numerical experiments, simulations, real data, case studies, and empirical research, ensuring claims are supported by appropriate evidence rather than generic robustness checks.

This skill focuses on designing tools for AI agents to interact with the real world effectively. It covers schema design, JSON Schema best practices, error handling, and validation. It also addresses description writing for LLMs and the emerging MCP standard. Proper tool design prevents hallucinations and ensures safety. Includes Python SDK examples for function calling.

This skill guides developers in building flexible and maintainable React components by applying composition patterns. It helps avoid boolean prop proliferation through compound components, state lifting, and internal composition. Suitable for refactoring, library building, and API design to improve code scalability for humans and AI agents.

This skill facilitates structured proposition testing and debate analysis within the CrossFrame Suite. It helps identify hidden premises, design rebuttals, and define withdrawal conditions for claims. It ensures arguments are steelman-ed rather than strawmanned, promoting balanced and evidence-based reasoning. It is routed by the suite and not for independent use.

This skill provides direction and intent for frontend design tasks. It helps define purpose, tone, domain, color world, and review criteria before coding. It incorporates cross-domain principles from cinema, architecture, marketing, UX, and automotive design to create memorable interfaces. Use it alongside the design skill to ensure intentional craftsmanship, proper loading order, and visual hierarchy. Focus on restraint, negative space, and signature elements rather than excessive intensity.

This skill performs comprehensive risk analysis for real estate auctions. It calculates a 36-point risk score covering legal, financial, and operational aspects. It includes stress testing across four scenarios and calculates risk-weighted ROI. Designed for Brazilian property auctions, it helps identify safe investments using AI tools.

This skill assists developers in writing and understanding Makepad DSL code for the Rust makepad-widgets crate. It covers syntax rules, object definitions, inheritance patterns, property overriding, and linking Rust structs to UI prototypes. Use it for live_design! macro implementation, widget composition, and UI styling within Makepad applications.

Expert skill for Makepad UI layout system. Helps generate layout code, explain sizing/alignment concepts, configure Walk/Align/Fit/Fill properties, and solve positioning challenges for widgets in Makepad applications. Supports responsive design, centering, and container flow configuration.
