This guide details best practices for ensuring scientific rigor and reproducibility in complex system research. It outlines the necessity of capturing the full execution state—including hardware steppings, BIOS revisions, kernel configurations, toolchain versions, and dataset provenance—to prevent data decay and validate findings against environmental drift.

A comprehensive guide to adhering to ASA/ASR data-sharing and transparency standards for social science research. It helps users prepare thorough documentation, define data provenance (codebooks, scripts), manage confidentiality constraints (IRB, proprietary data), and ethically prepare materials for academic publication. Use this when structuring a manuscript's data section or anticipating reviewer questions about data verification.

A comprehensive guide detailing the methodology for packaging, documenting, and staging research artifacts (including code, datasets, knowledge graphs, and demo systems) for CIKM conference submission. It covers best practices for licensing, provenance tracking, versioning, and transitioning artifacts from anonymous review status to citable public releases, ensuring reproducibility and adoptability.

A comprehensive guide for achieving experimental reproducibility and verifiability in academic writing, specifically targeting top-tier journals. It covers crucial aspects like fixing computing environments, managing random seeds, ensuring data provenance, preventing data leakage, and structuring scripts for external review, transforming research rigor into actionable steps.

This skill guides the design of real-data validation for academic manuscripts, specifically for forecasting and financial engineering strands. It covers data provenance, rolling out-of-sample tests, benchmark batteries, and statistical significance of improvements. It ensures robustness against look-ahead bias and parameter sensitivity, helping authors meet rigorous external review standards for empirical studies in journals like Chinese Journal of Management Science.

A comprehensive guide for preparing data-availability statements, shareable data, and reproducible code for conservation biology manuscripts. It outlines best practices for using persistent identifiers (like Dryad or Zenodo), masking sensitive species locations, and documenting full research provenance to meet journal standards.

Provides rigorous guidelines for conducting robust, verifiable, and reproducible evaluations in networking research. It emphasizes moving beyond simple simulations by demanding the use of real target platforms, documenting full system provenance (traces and configs), establishing honestly tuned baselines, and reporting detailed measurement statistics and uncertainty. Essential for authors aiming for top-tier conference submissions.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting research to CVPR, detailing best practices for packaging code, models, and datasets. It covers requirements for review-time reproducibility (sealed-box rules) and long-term public release (licensing, provenance, and version pinning), ensuring that the work is runnable by any skeptical third party.

This skill guides authors on submitting original, high-quality, and reusable Earth System datasets (observations, reanalysis, model outputs) as primary publications. It assesses whether the work fits the criteria of a 'data paper,' requiring open deposition in a FAIR repository with a persistent DOI, detailed provenance documentation, and rigorous quality control. It serves as a venue-selection and manuscript re-framing tool.

A comprehensive guide for academic researchers on how to structure and support claims in AI papers, particularly for top-tier conferences like ECAI. It details how to match the type of claim (e.g., completeness, efficiency, generalization) to the appropriate evidence—whether it requires a formal proof, a controlled empirical comparison, or a real-world deployment demonstration. The guide covers best practices for ML (seeds, ablations, baselines), multi-agent systems, and ensuring full provenance and academic honesty.

Comprehensive guidelines for structuring and submitting reproducible AI/ML research papers for top-tier conferences. It details two modes: Mode 1 for theoretical/KR work (requiring full, explicit proofs in the supplement), and Mode 2 for empirical/ML work (requiring fixed seeds, cached outputs, and rigorous provenance pinning for datasets, models, and environments). The guide also covers best practices for maintaining double-blind anonymity and properly dividing content between the main body and the supplementary material.

This guide details the requirements for creating a comprehensive replication package for manuscripts submitted to Econometric Society journals. It ensures full reproducibility of all results, including code, data provenance, and parameter settings, adhering to the journal's Data and Code Availability Policy. Key components include a master script, reproducible data, and detailed documentation.
