This guide structures the entire process of responding to a Journal of Political Economy (JPE) decision letter (R&R or reject). It provides a detailed, point-by-point framework for drafting the response letter, organizing revisions, and strategically addressing tough academic demands like strengthening mechanisms, general equilibrium, and identification.

A comprehensive guide for authors responding to major revisions in academic journals, particularly in policy and marketing research. It teaches how to systematically convert vague reviewer demands (e.g., "improve contribution") into concrete, visible analytical work, ensuring the response is both methodologically rigorous and policy-relevant.

This skill guides the development of the theoretical framework for policy-related manuscripts, focusing on building a rigorous 'theory of the policy lever.' It helps users account for the mechanism by which a mandated rule, restriction, or default changes marketplace behavior, considering unintended consequences, strategic firm responses, and the effect on vulnerable populations. It moves theory beyond simple hypothesis generation.

This guide provides a structured strategy for authors responding to major academic revisions (R&R) or acceptance-with-revision decisions from scholarly journals. It teaches how to write a detailed, point-by-point rebuttal letter, prioritizing the addressing of central limitations identified by editors and reviewers, and maintaining academic transparency throughout the revision process. This skill focuses on strategic communication, not content creation.

A comprehensive protocol for authors responding to major/minor revisions or rejection decisions from specialized academic journals, such as JPubE. It guides the structured process of decoding editor feedback, classifying comments (fundamental, clarification, disagreement), performing necessary analyses, and writing a professional, evidence-based point-by-point response letter. Essential for improving scholarly communication in public economics.

A comprehensive guide for crafting scientific response letters after receiving peer review feedback from specialized journals. It outlines how to triage technical objections, structure point-by-point rebuttals, reconcile conflicting referee demands, and maintain a professional, calibrated tone, ensuring the manuscript addresses all major concerns effectively.

A comprehensive guide for structuring a scientific rebuttal letter after receiving major revisions (R&R) or rejection from a top-tier academic journal. It teaches authors how to triage ambiguous referee reports, address binding spatial econometric concerns (like sorting or SUTVA), and craft a professional, evidence-based response that maximizes the chances of publication acceptance.

A comprehensive guide detailing the strategy and structure for author responses to peer reviews (rebuttals) in top-tier academic conferences like KDD. It covers the unique constraints, such as the prohibition of hyperlinks, how to anchor claims using specific coordinates (e.g., "Table 3, column 4"), and structuring responses to address multiple reviewer concerns while targeting the Area Chair's decision.

A comprehensive guide for drafting a professional and structured point-by-point rebuttal letter to journal reviewers. It details the process of triaging comments, addressing statistical concerns (e.g., ITT analysis, SAP adherence), and maintaining cautious causal language required in high-impact scientific publishing. Learn how to structure your response to maximize credibility and successfully revise your manuscript.

This guide provides a structured framework for authors responding to academic peer review decisions (R&R or Rejoinder). It transforms scattered reviewer objections into a cohesive, point-by-point revision plan. The process emphasizes engaging fairly with all criticism, strengthening claims with new data or predictions, and openly reconciling conflicting academic viewpoints.

A comprehensive guide for authors responding to 'revise-and-resubmit' decisions in Mathematical Finance journals. It provides a structured approach to triage referee comments regarding proof gaps, assumption scope, novelty, martingale conditions, and financial relevance. Learn how to write a point-by-point response letter and make aligned, rigorous manuscript edits.

A comprehensive guide for authors responding to Major Revision (R&R) decisions from top-tier academic journals. It teaches how to structure the rebuttal letter, prioritize the Department Editor's key concerns, address specific analytical and empirical objections, and ensure the revision adheres to strict formatting constraints (page caps, double-anonymization, data disclosure).
