Skill UI

This router guides authors through the complex, multi-stage process of preparing a manuscript for a top-tier finance journal like the Review of Finance (RoF). It diagnoses current bottlenecks—whether related to contribution framing, data analysis, or rebuttal strategy—and systematically recommends the next specialized skill to ensure a complete and high-quality submission.

Explains the RSS (Robotics: Science and Systems) double-blind review pipeline, two-stage threshold rebuttal, Area Chair meeting decisions, and author strategies for submissions and responses.

A protocol designed to rehearse the rigorous academic peer review process before actual submission. It simulates an Associate Editor's initial desk-screen and incorporates multiple independent referee perspectives (e.g., identification, robustness). The output provides a calibrated decision band and a prioritized, skill-mapped list of required fixes, helping authors predict and address potential weaknesses.

A comprehensive guide for authors responding to peer review comments after manuscript revision. It teaches strategies for triaging feedback (Do, Defend, Defer), prioritizing necessary experiments, maintaining a respectful tone, and restructuring the core scientific narrative for high-impact journals. Essential for navigating the academic publishing process.

This guide details the process of achieving ACM badges (Available, Functional, Reproduced) for academic artifacts at SenSys. It emphasizes creating a hardware-optional evaluation path, allowing reviewers to verify results and functionality without access to the original testbed. Key steps include implementing graded replay tiers, documenting data provenance (energy, traces), and performing smoke-runs.

Provides a structured methodology for authors preparing a technical resubmission response, particularly for systems-level research. It emphasizes treating reviewer feedback as a contractual list of required changes, necessitating new measurements and concrete evidence rather than mere arguments. Users learn to create a critical 'change-map,' prioritize blocking concerns, and maintain professional anonymity during the resubmission process.

This guide details the unique two-deadline review model of SenSys. It provides authors with a comprehensive roadmap for interpreting complex rejection outcomes, structuring substantive revisions, formulating effective responses to reviewers, and understanding critical systems review criteria, such as energy measurement and baseline fairness. Essential reading for systems researchers.

This guide details the expected review standards and process for submitting academic manuscripts to general social-science journals, referencing the Social Forces review model. It covers double-anonymization rules, required methodological rigor, achieving general significance, structuring theoretical arguments, and anticipating typical reviewer critiques. Use this before submission to stress-test your work and shape it for a higher chance of acceptance.

This comprehensive guide outlines the structured process for authors responding to peer review feedback for top-tier academic conferences (e.g., SIGCOMM). It critically distinguishes between drafting a concise, decision-focused rebuttal and executing a formal, contract-bound one-shot revision. It provides strict guidelines on building the required submission packet, including point-by-point responses, change-marked manuscripts, and evidence anchoring, ensuring submissions meet high academic standards.

A guide to navigating the rigorous academic publication pipeline, detailing stages such as early rejection, rebuttal, one-shot revision, and shepherding. It helps authors understand reviewer focus areas (e.g., evaluation realism, contribution) and plan strategic responses to maximize acceptance chances in top-tier venues.

This guide details the strategic process for writing a technical rebuttal (e.g., for SIGGRAPH), focusing on correcting factual errors and answering specific reviewer questions under strict constraints (e.g., 1000 words, text-only). It also outlines the required steps for the second-stage revision after conditional acceptance, ensuring authors address all committee requirements.

This comprehensive guide breaks down the complex SIGGRAPH/SIGGRAPH Asia technical paper review pipeline. It covers the single 6-point scoring scale, the multi-reviewer structure, the rebuttal process, committee decisions, and the dual-track (Journal vs. Conference) outcomes. Use this to understand where authors can exert influence and how to prepare submissions to meet the highest academic standards.
