A comprehensive guide to modeling the specific peer review cycle of MLSys submissions. It details the OpenReview workflow, the challenges posed by the mixed ML and systems reviewer pool, and provides strategic advice on addressing concerns related to workload representativeness, baseline strength, and evidence scope matching for high-stakes technical papers.

This guide provides critical structuring advice for authors submitting ML Systems papers, focusing on the strategic division of content between the mandatory 10-page body and the unlimited supplementary appendix. It outlines which material belongs in the main text (claims that must be believed) versus what belongs in the appendix (material that must be verifiable evidence, such as full hyperparameter grids or deep ablations).

This guide helps researchers determine if their project genuinely involves machine learning and computer system co-design. It outlines criteria, such as the "co-design test," and provides a routing table to decide whether the work belongs at MLSys compared to general systems conferences (OSDI, SOSP) or pure ML venues (ICML, NeurIPS).

A comprehensive guide for authors writing ML systems papers for MLSys. It teaches authors how to structure a technical argument by focusing on a measured bottleneck, naming mechanisms, and structuring the evaluation around research questions. It emphasizes numerical discipline, proper figure usage, and conciseness to fit within conference page limits.

This comprehensive guide provides best practices and an audit checklist for designing robust, real-world experiments in mobile and wireless communication systems. It emphasizes moving beyond simulations, detailing necessary RF setups, quantifiable energy metrics, and reporting statistical distributions to ensure high academic credibility.

Provides a comprehensive methodology for evaluating mobile computing systems. It mandates rigorous, real-device testing, focusing on instrumenting energy consumption, thermal behavior, latency distribution (tails), and memory limits. This guide ensures academic submissions are credible, repeatable, and compare performance against robust, tuned baselines.

This guide provides detailed academic instructions on structuring the 'Related Work' section for mobile systems conferences like MobiSys. It teaches authors how to position their novelty by covering adjacent literature lanes (e.g., on-device ML, offload, mobile OS) and differentiating their work from existing, similar state-of-the-art systems, while maintaining rigorous academic integrity.

A comprehensive guide for authors planning submissions to MobiSys. It details the two-round review process, the specialized pool of systems-and-services reviewers, and critical scoring dimensions such as on-device evidence, energy/latency rigor, and contribution mechanism. Use this to formulate a robust response strategy for every stage, from initial submission to camera-ready.

This guide provides rigorous structural and disciplinary rules for authors submitting mobile-systems research to highly competitive conferences like MobiSys. It emphasizes moving beyond mere superlatives, mandating that all claims must be substantiated by explicit measurements of latency, energy, memory, and thermal budgets on real devices. Learn how to structure the paper to survive deep technical and systems-level peer review.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting biomedical engineering research. It assesses the manuscript's fit, biomedical significance, and translational relevance against Nature's rigorous standards. Covers scope, validation requirements (benchtop vs. clinical), structural guidelines, and official submission checklists for devices, biomaterials, and engineered systems.

A comprehensive tool for authors submitting work on electronic devices, circuits, or systems to Nature Electronics. It guides the evaluation of the manuscript's broad scientific significance, technical rigor, and adherence to Nature's high stylistic and scientific standards, ensuring the work is field-advancing rather than merely incremental.

This comprehensive guide helps researchers determine if their specialized findings—across agronomy, nutrition, or supply chains—possess the requisite 'food-systems significance' for a high-impact journal. It outlines the required scope, transdisciplinary framing, evidence standards, and structural requirements necessary to shift a specialized result into a broad, systemic narrative suitable for Nature Food.
