This detailed guide helps authors assess the scientific rigor and scope fit for manuscripts targeting Composites Part B: Engineering. It covers advanced domains like composite mechanics, manufacturing processes, multiscale modeling, and multifunctional materials. It emphasizes that a strong contribution must demonstrate a clear, mechanism-driven advance from material science to structural application, supported by rigorous, quantitative experimental evidence and model validation.

This guide provides a framework for rigorously defending the methodological design of scientific manuscripts in conservation biology. It covers advanced topics including detection modeling (occupancy, capture-recapture), addressing spatial structure and pseudoreplication, quasi-experimental designs (BACI, difference-in-differences), and systematic review protocols (PRISMA). The goal is to ensure that the evidence presented directly and credibly supports transferable, decision-relevant conservation conclusions.

This skill automatically converts structured data from Excel (.xlsx) workbooks into a clean, readable Markdown format. It is essential for enabling accurate analysis, summarization, and data extraction of spreadsheet contents, especially when the user asks to 'read', 'analyze', or 'compare' data without specifying a conversion method. It supports both single files and batch processing of entire folders.

This skill converts Microsoft Word documents (.docx) into Markdown format. It is essential for accurately analyzing, summarizing, or extracting data from proprietary Word files, as direct parsing is unreliable. It supports single files, batch processing of folders, and is designed to coordinate with sibling skills (PDF and Excel) when handling mixed document types to ensure no data is skipped.

A comprehensive guideline for researchers developing robot-learning papers. It details best practices for experimental design, emphasizing statistical rigor, handling stochasticity (training seeds, initial states), bridging the sim-to-real gap, and ensuring fairness across baseline policy families (BC/RL/VLA). This resource helps ensure claims are supported by credible evidence.

This guide provides comprehensive standards for achieving auditability and transparency in Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) research. It teaches researchers how to document non-shareable evidence, such as field interviews, log traces, and system deployments, by focusing on detailed analysis trails, decision logs, and rigorous process documentation, thus strengthening academic rigor.

A comprehensive guide to managing the modern CSCW (Conference on Computer-Supported Cooperative Work) submission timeline. It details the shift from rigid, fixed cycles to a flexible, rolling submission model, emphasizing that success relies on treating the process as a long-term 'revision campaign' rather than a quick deadline sprint. Learn how to strategically plan for revisions and maintain momentum across extended academic cycles.

This comprehensive guide outlines the academic standards and best practices for drafting or revising papers in the Computer-Supported Cooperative Work (CSCW) domain. It provides detailed advice on managing effective word count, shifting focus from individual users to group dynamics, strengthening theoretical arguments, and presenting empirical evidence with high academic rigor. Essential for researchers aiming for top-tier publication.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting to computer vision conferences, detailing how to structure, organize, and utilize supplementary material. It clearly distinguishes between core claims (which must be in the main body) and supportive evidence, such as full ablation grids, detailed derivations, and video results, which belong in the supplement. The guide covers best practices for handling anonymity, video evidence, and avoiding common submission bugs.

This guide provides crucial advice for authors submitting to conferences with severe page limitations, such as DAC. It teaches the 'decision-criticality test' to help authors allocate content, ensuring that only core, review-mandated arguments remain in the main body, while supporting details and code can be moved to external repositories.

A comprehensive planning tool for developmental psychology researchers designing studies that must support a claim of change. It systematically guides users through critical methodological issues, including addressing age vs. cohort confounds, planning for measurement invariance across ages, handling attrition, and properly justifying sample size for growth slopes. Essential for strengthening the pre-analysis plan of longitudinal and cross-sectional designs.

A comprehensive guide for academic researchers on how to structure and support claims in AI papers, particularly for top-tier conferences like ECAI. It details how to match the type of claim (e.g., completeness, efficiency, generalization) to the appropriate evidence—whether it requires a formal proof, a controlled empirical comparison, or a real-world deployment demonstration. The guide covers best practices for ML (seeds, ablations, baselines), multi-agent systems, and ensuring full provenance and academic honesty.
