This guide details the rigorous review standards and criteria for developmental psychology manuscripts, covering masked peer review, developmental significance, methodological rigor (age/cohort effects, invariance, attrition), JARS reporting, and TOP transparency. Use this resource to stress-test your paper before submission, understand expected revisions, or interpret complex decision letters.

A comprehensive planning tool for developmental psychology researchers designing studies that must support a claim of change. It systematically guides users through critical methodological issues, including addressing age vs. cohort confounds, planning for measurement invariance across ages, handling attrition, and properly justifying sample size for growth slopes. Essential for strengthening the pre-analysis plan of longitudinal and cross-sectional designs.

A comprehensive final checklist for developmental psychology manuscripts submitting through Editorial Manager (APA). It guides authors through critical areas like length-tier compliance, developing credible developmental claims (JARS), transparency (TOP), and preparing for masked peer review, ensuring submission quality before final upload.

Provides detailed guidelines for developing tables and figures in Developmental Psychology manuscripts, adhering to APA 7th edition standards. Focuses on making developmental change explicit by using age/time on the x-axis, plotting individual trajectories (spaghetti plots), and displaying model-implied mean curves with confidence intervals, moving beyond simple group mean comparisons.

This guide helps researchers structure developmental psychology manuscripts by emphasizing the 'theory of change.' It teaches how to articulate age-graded, directional hypotheses by first stating the underlying developmental mechanism (e.g., maturation, scaffolding) and the predicted form of change (e.g., age main effect, growth curve). It is crucial for maintaining methodological rigor and separating confirmatory from exploratory claims, aligning with JARS reporting standards.

This comprehensive guide helps researchers determine if their empirical project qualifies for a Developmental Psychology journal. It emphasizes that the core contribution must focus on 'developmental change' across the lifespan (age effects, trajectories, or underlying mechanisms), rather than merely describing a single-age phenomenon. It provides a four-gate fit test covering developmental claims, theory advancement, design credibility, and open-science readiness, guiding researchers on framing and proper submission tiering.

This tool acts as an orchestrator for Developmental Psychology submissions, guiding authors through the entire academic writing lifecycle. It helps users systematize their work from initial conceptualization and defining developmental claims (age effects, within-person change) to selecting the appropriate design (cross-sectional, longitudinal, micro-genetic), conducting rigorous analysis, and fulfilling modern standards like APA 7th and Transparency and Openness Promotion (TOP). It maps the full journey from idea to rebuttal.

A comprehensive guide for polishing Developmental Psychology manuscripts. It ensures adherence to APA 7th edition standards, focusing on foregrounding developmental change, using JARS reporting for methods and results, and correctly formatting the Abstract and Public Significance Statement based on the required length tier. It helps authors shift focus from single-age findings to developmental trajectories and mechanisms.

Build a playable prototype in about an hour to test if a game mechanic is fun, using greybox primitives, a hard timebox, and explicit keep/kill criteria. Ideal for validating mechanics, vertical slices, MVPs, or de-risking ideas before full production.

Orchestrate complex multi-phase objectives into guided sequences of skill invocations. Use for shipping SaaS MVPs, web security audits, AI agent systems, browser QA, and DDD domain modeling with verified checkpoints.

Delegate bounded work to other AI agents while preserving context, file ownership, and progress checks. Covers agent selection, structured prompts, polling, remote VPS safety, and driving interactive CLIs.

MockHunter is an advanced skill designed to audit live web pages, providing a comprehensive reality check on visible data. It analyzes every element to determine its true source: whether it is REAL (from the database), MOCK (simulated data), LLM-generated, HARDCODED, BROKEN (broken endpoints), or UNKNOWN. Ideal for auditing AI-generated UIs or reviewing proof-of-concept MVPs before customer sign-off.
