This guide assists researchers in aligning their study design—whether behavioral (lab/field experiments) or modeling-econometric (IV/DiD/RDD)—with the rigorous standards required by the Journal of Marketing Research (JMR). It covers best practices for causal identification, power analysis, structural estimation, and meeting journal-level expectations like replication and Web Appendix planning.

A comprehensive guide for authors managing a Revise-and-Resubmit (R&R) from the Journal of Marketing Research (JMR). It outlines how to systematically address dual concerns—research rigor (statistics, identification, replication) and theoretical substance (contribution)—while crafting a point-by-point response letter. It emphasizes using the Web Appendix to manage new analyses without exceeding the page limit.

This guide outlines strict guidelines for formatting tables and figures required for submission to the Journal of Marketing Research (JMR). It details managing the crucial 50-page manuscript limit versus the Web Appendix, ensuring all statistics adhere to AMA style (e.g., reporting exact p-values, standard errors, and effect sizes). It is designed for authors who need to transform raw results into publication-ready, self-contained, and compliant academic exhibits.

This comprehensive guide assists researchers in determining the suitability of their manuscript for Nucleic Acids Research (NAR). It details the journal's scope, structural demands, and rigorous standards for submissions involving DNA, RNA, bioinformatics, databases, or web tools. Use this to assess the fit and required elements before official submission.

Provides comprehensive guidelines for packaging and submitting research artifacts (datasets, models, code) for major conferences. It details the difference between mere 'existence' (badge verification) and true academic 'reproducibility,' covering archival strategies, web data licensing, takedown resilience, and minimal viable package structure for long-term scholarly impact.

A comprehensive guide for ensuring the scientific reproducibility of research papers that rely on dynamic web data, such as web crawls, platform APIs, or live system traffic. It defines three reproducibility regimes (Frozen, Decaying, Unreplayable) and provides detailed instructions on documenting data decay, temporal splits, environment configurations, and computational seeds to maintain the rigor of published findings.

A comprehensive audit guide for submitting research papers to major Web Conferences (WWW). It details critical, irreversible steps such as author list freezing, restrictive page arithmetic (12 pages total), track selection protocols, anonymity checks, and managing submission caps. Essential reading for research teams preparing for demanding academic deadlines.

This guide helps authors determine if their research is web-native and which specific research track (e.g., Search, Security, Economics) is the most appropriate fit for submission to the Web Conference (WWW). It outlines critical decision points, distinguishing between general ML methods and web-specific contributions, and advises on optimal submission strategy.

A comprehensive workflow guide for managing the entire academic research cycle of a major conference, such as the Web Conference. It details key milestones, backward planning strategies from abstract deadlines, fallback options (Short Papers, Web4Good), and capacity planning tips to ensure timely and successful submission and publication.

A comprehensive framework for ensuring reproducibility in Web Search and Data Mining (WSDM) research. It addresses unique challenges associated with behavioral data, covering data provenance, temporal splitting discipline, bias assumption reporting, statistical rigor (seeds, variance), and the 'honesty ladder' for non-reproducible results, helping researchers publish robust and verifiable work.

A comprehensive guide for researchers to evaluate if their project aligns with the niche scope of WSDM. It details the 'two-gate test' (web/social data focus and practical/principled approach) and provides a routing table to help authors determine the most appropriate conference venue (e.g., SIGIR, KDD, RecSys) for their work.

This guide provides detailed stylistic advice for authors submitting papers to WSDM. It emphasizes structuring work around observed user and web behaviors, adopting a self-contained voice that preemptively addresses reviewer objections, and ensuring technical precision in all sections, including ethics and limitations. It transforms raw research into a publication-ready, principle-grounded narrative.
