A comprehensive guide for authors targeting Trends in Ecology & Evolution (TREE). It details the journal's unique positioning, emphasizing that articles must be high-level syntheses, opinions, or conceptual frameworks, rather than primary research reports. Learn how to frame your work for a broad, cross-disciplinary readership and meet the rigorous conceptual and structural standards of top-tier academic publishing.

This guide helps researchers position their work within the broader, multidisciplinary development conversation. It teaches how to move beyond simply presenting new data or techniques, focusing instead on bridging disciplines (e.g., economics and political science) and identifying the core conceptual contribution that a non-specialist can grasp. It is crucial for manuscripts aiming for high-impact development journals.

This guide helps researchers move beyond decorative theory to construct 'load-bearing' conceptual or analytical frameworks for World Development (WD) manuscripts. It outlines how to transform vague ideas into structured, testable mechanisms by stating clear mechanisms, deriving discriminating predictions, mapping predictions to evidence, and defining scope conditions, ensuring the theory actively drives the empirical argument.

A comprehensive guide detailing the workflow for converting an accepted academic manuscript into its final, archival format for major digital libraries (e.g., ACM Digital Library). It covers critical steps including completing e-rights forms, de-anonymizing content, verifying CCS concepts and keywords, managing metadata, and troubleshooting common production pitfalls to ensure successful publication.

This skill guides the construction of complex legal arguments, adhering to the standard persuasive arc: doctrine → theory → normative. It ensures the writing systematically moves from mapping existing law (the problem) to developing a conceptual framework (the why) and finally proposing actionable reforms (the fix). It is essential for building a rigorous, logical, and comprehensive academic argument.

This guide provides a structured framework for presenting complex empirical results in academic manuscripts, particularly for international marketing journals. It details the essential 'spine exhibits' (conceptual models, invariance tables, cross-national patterns) and teaches techniques like the 'claim test' and 'triage' to ensure arguments are clear, rigorous, and adhere to strict page limits.

Matplotlib is the foundational Python library for creating static, animated, and high-quality visualizations. This comprehensive skill guide covers everything from basic line plots and scatter graphs to advanced concepts like multi-subplot layouts, heatmaps, and 3D visualization. It details both the convenient pyplot interface and the powerful object-oriented API, ensuring you can generate publication-ready charts with professional customization.

This skill guides the creation of computable phenotypes and patient cohorts using the OHDSI/OMOP CDM standards. It allows users to define precise, executable criteria by combining standard concept sets (like PheKB) with advanced Natural Language Processing (NLP) features extracted from free clinical text. Use this when structured codes alone are insufficient to capture critical health information (e.g., symptoms, social context).

This skill provides a structured way to understand complex codebases, functions, or architectural concepts. It allows the user to specify the depth of explanation (Simple, Standard, Deep), ensuring the output covers purpose, step-by-step flow, key decisions, and trade-offs for maximum learning efficiency.

Converts raw OpenMed NER outputs (text spans) into structured, standards-compliant FHIR R4 resources (e.g., Condition, Observation, MedicationStatement). It provides mechanical helpers for building CodeableConcepts using major coding systems like SNOMED, LOINC, and ICD-10, ensuring high interoperability with EHR systems and registries.

This tool provides a structured, multi-stage method for learning any technical concept, from basic definitions to advanced implementation details and common pitfalls. It progressively deepens the explanation, making complex topics easy to grasp.

This skill resolves entities extracted by OpenMed (e.g., Disease, Drug) to standardized Concept Unique Identifiers (CUIs) within the UMLS Metathesaurus. It is essential for cross-vocabulary normalization, allowing users to unify concepts (like SNOMED CT, ICD-10, RxNorm) to a single canonical CUI. Crucially, the process relies entirely on the user's own UTS API key, ensuring that the Metathesaurus content is never bundled or cached.
