Skill UI

This tool guides the conceptual development of advanced accounting research manuscripts (CAR). It helps researchers build the core theoretical engine—the economic or behavioral mechanism, or the formal model—regardless of the methodology (e.g., archival, experimental, analytical). It ensures that hypotheses are directional, falsifiable, and rigorously grounded in established economic and accounting theory.

This skill acts as a comprehensive router for the entire manuscript lifecycle directed towards publishing in Contemporary Accounting Research (CAR). It does not generate content but guides the user through the necessary steps, from initial topic selection and theory development to data analysis, contribution framing, and final rebuttal preparation. Use it when you are unsure of the next optimal step or are bouncing between different stages of writing.

This specialized guide assists researchers in positioning and refining academic manuscripts intended for top-tier journals focusing on rural Chinese economy, agriculture, and rural development. It covers the journal's specific scope, required methodology, submission standards (e.g., open data/code), and common pitfalls to increase publication success rates.

This guide outlines the scope and submission requirements for the journal China Sport Science and Technology. It focuses specifically on application-oriented exercise science, covering competitive training, physical conditioning, physiological monitoring, technical analysis, and sports rehabilitation. It helps researchers determine the best fit for their work, distinguishing between purely theoretical research and practice-guided, evidence-based studies for athletic development.

This skill provides a comprehensive framework for positioning and refining academic manuscripts intended for the 'Contemporary Economy of Japan' journal. It specializes in comparative economics, focusing on Japanese macroeconomics, Sino-Japanese trade, regional cooperation, and policy implications for China's development. It guides users on meeting specific structural requirements, theoretical depth, and evidence standards (e.g., country data, comparative framework).

This comprehensive guide is a fit and re-framing tool for authors targeting Developmental Cell. It details the journal's high standards for mechanistic studies spanning developmental and cell biology. It emphasizes that advances must go beyond mere phenotypes, requiring rigorous molecular mechanisms, quantified live imaging data, and adherence to STAR Methods. Use this to assess if your work meets the required depth and scope.

A comprehensive guide for analyzing and reporting longitudinal data in Developmental Psychology manuscripts, ensuring compliance with high academic standards. It emphasizes modeling developmental change (e.g., growth curves, multilevel models, SEM), establishing measurement invariance (configural, metric, scalar) before interpretation, and rigorously reporting effect sizes and confidence intervals (CIs) using JARS guidelines. It guides the distinction between confirmatory and exploratory findings.

This guide helps researchers structure the introduction of developmental psychology manuscripts. It emphasizes moving beyond merely reviewing a topic and instead identifying a specific 'developmental gap'—an unknown concerning change, age, or mechanism. Learn how to frame your contribution theoretically, clearly state the developmental stakes, and distinguish your work from related fields.

A comprehensive guide for researchers in Developmental Psychology on meeting rigorous Open Science standards. It details best practices for data and materials sharing using Persistent Identifiers (DOIs), mandatory preregistration of hypotheses, sample-size justification, and adhering to ethical requirements when working with minors and vulnerable populations. It ensures compliance and reproducibility in modern scientific reporting.

A comprehensive guide for authors responding to Developmental Psychology journal revise-and-resubmit (R&R) critiques. It provides a structured strategy to address rigorous demands—such as measurement invariance testing, attrition analyses, and enhanced transparency—while strengthening the developmental claim and managing the manuscript's length constraints.

This guide details the rigorous review standards and criteria for developmental psychology manuscripts, covering masked peer review, developmental significance, methodological rigor (age/cohort effects, invariance, attrition), JARS reporting, and TOP transparency. Use this resource to stress-test your paper before submission, understand expected revisions, or interpret complex decision letters.

A comprehensive planning tool for developmental psychology researchers designing studies that must support a claim of change. It systematically guides users through critical methodological issues, including addressing age vs. cohort confounds, planning for measurement invariance across ages, handling attrition, and properly justifying sample size for growth slopes. Essential for strengthening the pre-analysis plan of longitudinal and cross-sectional designs.
