This guide provides comprehensive writing and formatting standards for submitting technical papers to the Journal of Computer Research and Development (JCRD). It covers structuring the title, developing the five-element abstract, ensuring consistent terminology, adhering to GB/T 7714 referencing, and maintaining double-blind review compliance. Use it to polish a draft and meet high academic publication standards.

This guide assists researchers in sharpening the development-economics takeaway of their manuscripts. It helps authors move beyond merely stating coefficients to explicitly defining the core contribution—the mechanism, policy implication, or theoretical lesson—that the work delivers to the field of development economics, ensuring the work's significance is unmistakable.

A comprehensive guide for conducting rigorous empirical analysis on field and survey data in low- and middle-income settings. It covers advanced methods for handling clustered sampling, measurement error, differential attrition, and treatment-effect heterogeneity, ensuring results meet the high standards of reproducibility and robustness required by leading developmental economics journals.

This comprehensive guide establishes the rigorous methodological standards for developing credible causal identification strategies in development economics. It details best practices for modern quasi-experimental methods, including RCTs, DID, IV, and RDD. Authors learn how to meet the high empirical norms required by top-tier journals by ensuring robustness, addressing biases (e.g., TWFE), and validating external validity.

This skill guides authors on how to precisely position a manuscript's contribution within a specialized academic field, particularly development economics. It teaches the structured process of identifying the specific literature gap, defining the binding open question, and clearly articulating the incremental advance. It is crucial for crafting compelling introductions and passing expert peer review at high-impact journals.

A comprehensive guide for drafting rebuttal and revision plans in response to journal decisions, specifically tailored for the Journal of Development Economics (JDE). It provides structured strategies for addressing referee reports, managing conflicting feedback, prioritizing revisions (concede vs. defend), and executing the response letter point-by-point, especially critical for single-round, limited-revision tracks.

Provides a comprehensive guide to the Journal of Development Economics (JDE) submission process. It details the three distinct submission routes—Full-length, Short-paper, and Pre-results Review—helping researchers choose the optimal path based on their research design, whether they have a sharp finding, a prospective RCT, or extensive theory. Covers review standards, timelines, and submission caps.

A comprehensive preflight checklist for submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Development Economics (JDE) via Editorial Manager. This guide ensures compliance with route-specific limits (e.g., short-paper caps, full-length requirements), data replication readiness, single-anonymized review standards, and adherence to journal policies (e.g., language consistency, submission caps). Use it as the final check before submission.

This guide provides best practices for presenting empirical results in development economics, emphasizing a 'figure-forward' approach suitable for top-tier journals. It teaches researchers how to transform complex statistical models (like DID, RDD, and ITT) into clear, self-contained, and impactful visual exhibits (plots and maps). The goal is to ensure that the headline findings are immediately legible to expert referees, moving beyond traditional, complex coefficient tables.

This guide helps researchers rigorously vet their academic questions against the standards of top-tier development economics journals. It teaches users to identify 'first-order' issues focused on low- and middle-income economies, ensuring the research mechanism genuinely contributes to understanding poverty, growth, and policy levers for poor populations, rather than merely being a general micro-economic result.

This router serves as a comprehensive guide for authors submitting manuscripts to the Journal of Development Economics (JDE). It does not replace any specialized skill but diagnoses the current stage of the research and identifies the optimal next step—whether it involves refining the contribution framing, strengthening the causal identification, structuring figures, or preparing a rebuttal letter. Use it when you are unsure how to proceed.

A specialized structural review pass designed to polish academic manuscripts for top development economics journals like the Journal of Development Economics (JDE). It guides authors to ensure the narrative emphasizes the core development question, quantifies findings with magnitudes, and clearly articulates policy implications for development policymakers and academic readers.
