A comprehensive guide to hardening GitHub Actions CI/CD workflows against modern supply chain attacks, credential theft, and privilege escalation. Learn techniques such as pinning actions to immutable SHA digests, minimizing GITHUB_TOKEN permissions, preventing script injection from untrusted inputs, and implementing required review gates for secure deployment pipelines. Essential for any project handling production secrets or elevated permissions.

A specialized skill for assessing REST and GraphQL APIs against Broken Object Level Authorization (BOLA/IDOR), a critical vulnerability highlighted by OWASP API1:2023. This process involves intercepting API calls, identifying object identifiers (numeric IDs, UUIDs, slugs), and systematically substituting these IDs with those belonging to other users or tenants. It verifies whether the API server correctly enforces per-object authorization checks, mitigating risks of horizontal privilege escalation and unauthorized data access in multi-tenant environments.

This script automates the testing of API endpoints for mass assignment (over-posting) vulnerabilities, adhering to OWASP API3:2023 guidelines. It systematically injects undocumented, privileged fields (like 'role', 'isAdmin', 'balance', 'price') into request bodies of typical endpoints (e.g., profile updates, order creation). It checks if the server binds these unexpected fields to the data model without proper filtering, potentially allowing unauthorized privilege escalation or data manipulation.

A comprehensive guide for systematically assessing web applications and APIs for broken access control vulnerabilities (OWASP A01:2021). The methodology covers role-based access control (RBAC) auditing, horizontal and vertical privilege escalation, and multi-tenant data leakage using tools like Burp Suite, ffuf, and custom scripts. Essential for authorized penetration testing and security audits.

A comprehensive guide for manually assessing critical business rules and workflows in web applications. This technique goes beyond automated scanning by simulating attacks like price manipulation, multi-step process bypass, and privilege escalation. Ideal for securing e-commerce checkout funnels, financial transactions, and complex authorization systems.

A comprehensive guide and toolkit for performing deep security assessments on mobile application backends. It covers identifying vulnerabilities such as broken authentication, insecure token management (JWT, opaque tokens), session fixation, privilege escalation, and IDOR (Broken Object-Level Authorization) across various OAuth flows (OIDC, PKCE). Essential for penetration testers assessing API security.

This skill focuses on detecting and mitigating sophisticated code injection and privilege escalation attacks across the entire serverless ecosystem (AWS Lambda, Azure, GCP). It combines static analysis of dangerous code sinks (e.g., eval, exec) with continuous monitoring of event sources (S3, SQS, API Gateway) and rigorous IAM auditing. It provides a comprehensive framework to secure the expanding serverless attack surface.

This skill provides a comprehensive guide and structured SQL templates for performing deep forensic investigations on AWS cloud logs. It utilizes AWS Athena to query massive datasets from CloudTrail, VPC Flow Logs, S3 access logs, and ALB logs. Ideal for detecting unauthorized access, data exfiltration, and privilege escalation during security incident response.

Provides step-by-step techniques for assessing AWS security, covering IAM enumeration, privilege escalation, SSRF metadata attacks, S3/Lambda exploitation, and red-team persistence workflows with recommended tools and commands.

Walks through systematic Linux privilege escalation, covering enumeration, automation with linpeas/linenum, kernel exploit hunting, sudo/SUID abuse, and exploitation of cron, LD_PRELOAD, and GTFOBins for gaining root access.

This comprehensive checklist guides penetration testers through discovering Insecure Direct Object References (IDOR). It covers techniques like object ID enumeration, horizontal and vertical privilege escalation, and parameter manipulation. Use it for web application pentests and bug bounty hunting to identify broken access control vulnerabilities.

This advanced skill explores offensive reconnaissance techniques focused on defeating modern operating system security boundaries and mitigations. Topics include kernel/user boundary manipulation, sandbox escapes (AppContainer, LPAC), COM/RPC boundary exploitation, hypervisor interactions, and various integrity level bypassing methods. It is essential for planning advanced privilege escalation paths and understanding deep Windows security architecture, including AMSI, WDAC, and ETW manipulation.
