Skill UI

Guides bug bounty hunters through REST, SOAP, and GraphQL API fuzzing to uncover authentication weaknesses, IDOR, injections, and endpoint bypasses while outlining practical reconnaissance and exploitation workflows.

Guides security testers through identifying, exploiting, and remediating insecure direct object references in web apps, with methods covering reconnaissance, request manipulation, Burp Suite automation, and reportable mitigation steps.

Comprehensive guidance on using Shodan’s web UI, CLI, and API for reconnaissance, exposed-service discovery, screenshot capture, and exporting JSON/CSV data during penetration tests.

This skill provides comprehensive methods for collecting and synthesizing Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) regarding threat actors, malicious infrastructure, and attack campaigns. It utilizes public data sources, passive reconnaissance tools (like WHOIS, Certificate Transparency), and specialized platforms (Maltego, Shodan, SpiderFoot) to map adversary context and perform pre-engagement intelligence gathering for authorized red team assessments. Emphasis is placed on passive collection techniques to ensure legality and operational security.

This guide outlines the process of passive external reconnaissance using Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) techniques. Users can map an organization's digital footprint by gathering comprehensive data, including DNS records, subdomains, certificate transparency logs, social media profiles, and leaked credentials. It is critical for the planning phase of penetration testing, asset mapping, or preparing for social engineering, all without actively interacting with target systems.

Simulates advanced persistent threat (APT) activity across the entire cyber kill chain, from reconnaissance to data exfiltration. It evaluates an organization's detection, prevention, and response capabilities using MITRE ATT&CK-aligned techniques, moving beyond typical vulnerability scanning. Ideal for objective-based assessments and purple teaming.

This guide details the methodology for conducting internal network penetration tests, simulating an attacker operating from an assumed breach state. It covers initial network reconnaissance, Active Directory enumeration, advanced credential harvesting techniques (e.g., Kerberoasting, Pass-the-Hash), and lateral movement exploitation to determine the full blast radius of a potential breach. Essential for comprehensive security auditing.

Utilize BloodHound Community Edition to conduct deep internal Active Directory reconnaissance using graph theory. This skill maps complex relationships, including ACLs, group memberships, and trust links, to visualize potential attack paths. It is crucial in red-teaming engagements to identify the shortest path from a low-privileged foothold to high-value targets like Domain Admins, or to validate security hardening efforts.

A comprehensive framework for assessing network security posture. This skill guides the tester through the entire penetration testing lifecycle, from reconnaissance and host discovery (using tools like Nmap) to service enumeration, vulnerability identification (CVEs), and controlled exploitation (Metasploit). It is essential for validating firewall rules, ensuring compliance (e.g., PCI-DSS), and stress-testing critical infrastructure security.

This skill provides comprehensive guidance on detecting network reconnaissance and port scanning activities using industry-standard IDS/IPS systems like Suricata and Snort. It covers various scanning techniques (e.g., SYN, FIN, NULL, Xmas scans, UDP sweeps) and advanced detection methods, including signature matching, threshold-based alerting, and traffic anomaly analysis to identify tools like Nmap and Masscan.

This comprehensive guide configures Fail2ban to implement a robust, layered defense mechanism for network security. It sets up custom filters and actions to automatically detect and mitigate threats such as port scanning, SSH brute force attempts, and network reconnaissance. By dynamically banning malicious IP addresses and providing security alerts, this skill significantly enhances the host-based intrusion prevention capabilities of your system.

BloodHound is a powerful, graph-based reconnaissance tool specifically designed for Active Directory environments. It utilizes graph theory to map deep, hidden relationships and potential attack paths—such as privilege escalation chains—from compromised low-value accounts to high-value targets like Domain Admins. This tool is essential for authorized red team exercises and penetration testing engagements.
