Skill UI

This skill serves as a comprehensive guide for positioning networking research for the ACM CoNEXT conference. It helps authors assess the manuscript's fit, structure the paper for optimal impact, and ensure the evidence (measurement, prototype, protocol) meets the rigorous standards of top-tier CS venues. Use this tool when re-framing journal-style or arXiv papers for conference submission.

This guide details the critical, multi-step process for converting an accepted, anonymous conference manuscript into a publishable, citable journal article for PACMNET. Key tasks include systematic de-anonymization (restoring author details and system names), completing comprehensive journal metadata (ACM CCS, ORCID, licensing), permanent linking of artifacts via DOI, and conducting rigorous production checks to ensure final publication quality.

This guide helps researchers determine the most appropriate top-tier academic conference (e.g., CoNEXT, SIGCOMM, NSDI, IMC) and submission cycle for their networking research. It provides detailed criteria, routing tables, and tests (e.g., platform-realism test, model-swap test) to ensure the contribution is evaluated on a real target and fits the target community's scope and rigor.
