Skill UI

This guide details advanced techniques for authorized security assessments, focusing on forced browsing. It helps testers discover hidden administrative pages, unprotected APIs, and configuration files by systematically enumerating URLs and challenging application access control mechanisms. Techniques involve using tools like ffuf and Gobuster for comprehensive path and directory discovery.

A comprehensive utility designed to assess the security posture of modern APIs, including REST, GraphQL, and gRPC. It strictly follows the OWASP API Security Top 10 framework, testing for critical vulnerabilities such as Broken Object/Function Level Authorization (BOLA/BFLA), SQL/NoSQL injection flaws, and weaknesses in authentication mechanisms like JWT manipulation. Essential for security engineers and penetration testers validating complex microservice architectures and API gateways.

A comprehensive guide for conducting penetration testing on iOS and Android mobile applications, adhering to the OWASP MASTG. This skill covers the full mobile attack surface, including static analysis of binaries, dynamic runtime testing, and deep API security assessment. Techniques taught include bypassing certificate pinning, analyzing local data storage (Keychain, SQLite), and identifying vulnerabilities in authentication and network communication.

Guide for performing Android and iOS mobile application penetration testing with OWASP MASTG/MASVS, covering static/dynamic analysis, data storage checks, API abuse, and runtime manipulation using Frida, Objection, and MobSF.

A comprehensive tool for testing API parameters, headers, and request bodies against various injection flaws, including SQL injection, NoSQL injection, OS command injection, LDAP injection, and SSRF. It assesses input validation and security posture according to OWASP guidelines. Use only for authorized penetration testing.

A specialized security testing skill designed to identify excessive data exposure in REST or GraphQL APIs, adhering to OWASP API3:2023 guidelines. It works by intercepting raw API responses and systematically comparing the returned data against what the frontend UI actually displays. This helps auditors detect leaked PII, internal identifiers, debug fields, or other sensitive business data that should have been filtered out by the endpoint response. Use cases include auditing microservice boundaries, assessing mobile API responses designed for multiple clients, and verifying proper respons...

This skill guides the detection and exploitation of JavaScript prototype pollution vulnerabilities. It covers both client-side (DOM XSS) and server-side (RCE, Auth Bypass) attacks by injecting properties into Object.prototype using keys like `__proto__`. Use this when assessing APIs that deep-merge or clone user-controlled JSON data, or for general web application security testing.

This skill implements comprehensive API security testing using the 42Crunch platform. It combines static analysis (API Audit) on OpenAPI definitions, dynamic vulnerability scanning (API Conformance Scan) against running APIs, and runtime threat protection. Ideal for integrating OWASP API Security Top 10 checks into CI/CD pipelines and IDEs, enabling 'shift-left' security practices.

This guide details how to integrate OWASP ZAP (Zed Attack Proxy) into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions/GitLab) for comprehensive Dynamic Application Security Testing (DAST). It covers configuring baseline, full, and API scans to identify common vulnerabilities like XSS, SQLi, and CSRF in running web applications and REST/GraphQL APIs, ensuring security quality gates in the development lifecycle.

This tool utilizes Microsoft RESTler to perform stateful REST API fuzzing. It compiles OpenAPI/Swagger specifications into a usable grammar, allowing users to test complex API interaction sequences. It is crucial for discovering state-related bugs, injection vulnerabilities, authentication bypasses, and resource leaks that standard testing might miss. Ideal for continuous security validation in CI/CD pipelines.

A comprehensive security assessment guide and script to test API rate limit vulnerabilities. It evaluates if an API's security controls can be bypassed using advanced techniques such as IP spoofing (manipulating X-Forwarded-For headers), HTTP method variations, and endpoint path traversal. Designed for penetration testing, it helps assess resilience against brute-force or resource exhaustion attacks, aligning with OWASP API Top 10 findings.

A comprehensive guide for performing structured API security testing using Postman. It covers critical OWASP API Security Top 10 vulnerabilities, including BOLA, authentication bypass, and injection flaws. Ideal for building repeatable security regression tests, simulating multi-role user access, and integrating automated validation into CI/CD pipelines via Newman and OWASP ZAP.
