Skill UI

A comprehensive tool for generating publication-quality figures essential for Machine Learning and AI academic papers. It supports two distinct workflows: generating complex system architecture and workflow diagrams using AI (Gemini), and creating precise, data-driven visualizations (line charts, heatmaps, etc.) using standard libraries like matplotlib and seaborn. Use it when preparing any figure for a conference submission.

This skill is a comprehensive strategic guide for authors targeting the ACM Conference on Recommender Systems (RecSys). It helps assess the fit of a manuscript, guides the re-framing of work from journal or arXiv styles into a specialized conference narrative, and outlines specific requirements for evidence, evaluation (including offline metrics, user context, and leakage-aware methods), and contribution framing necessary for top-tier CS venues.

A comprehensive strategic guide for authors targeting the ACM International Conference on Multimedia Retrieval (ICMR). This skill helps authors assess the fit of their multimedia retrieval, cross-modal search, or representation learning work for the venue. It provides specific advice on framing the contribution, defining necessary evidence (e.g., ranking metrics, baselines), and structuring the manuscript to meet ICMR's high standards.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting papers related to web search, ranking, and data mining to WSDM. It provides critical advice on conference fit assessment, proper manuscript re-framing, required evidence (retrieval/ranking baselines, platform-aware evaluation), and how to position the work against competing top venues like SIGIR and KDD.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting data mining papers to the ACM SIGKDD Conference. It helps authors assess the manuscript's fit, reframe the contribution (e.g., from journal to conference style), and strengthens the evidence bar by focusing on novelty, scale, reproducibility, and clear real-world impact required by top-tier data science venues.

This guide assists authors targeting the ACM SIGMOD conference. It provides expert advice on positioning, framing, and structuring database systems papers. It emphasizes strong algorithmic or systems contributions, realistic workloads, and necessary evidence, while also advising on routing relative to similar venues like VLDB and ICDE.

A comprehensive guide for structuring research artifacts (code, models, datasets, media) for ACM Multimedia conferences. It details the distinct requirements for anonymous review packages versus permanent public releases, offering guidelines on ethics, licensing, reproducibility, and track-specific documentation.

A comprehensive checklist for auditing academic submissions to ACM Multimedia (ACM MM). Covers thematic area selection, formatting constraints (6-8 page limit), enforcing double-blind anonymity, managing OpenReview mechanics, and identifying common desk-reject triggers. Essential for authors preparing technical papers for top-tier conferences.

This comprehensive guide details the structured method for drafting author responses to peer reviewers' comments for major conferences like AISTATS. It covers best practices for addressing statistical validity, novelty, and technical concerns in a constrained, anonymous, text-only format. Learn how to triage objections, anchor claims to existing evidence, and handle specific statistical pushback patterns.

A comprehensive guide for academics submitting AI and statistical research papers. It details how to map every claim (theoretical, algorithmic, or empirical) to verifiable evidence, covering necessary details like datasets, hyperparameters, random seeds, compute resources, and uncertainty estimates. It outlines the standards for achieving high levels of reproducibility, from descriptive to turnkey, ensuring scientific rigor for top-tier conferences.

This guide provides comprehensive best practices for preparing supplementary materials for major academic conferences like AISTATS. It details the proper structure and handling of appendices, mathematical proofs, code archives, and additional data tables, ensuring that the main paper remains fully understandable even if the supplementary material is ignored by reviewers. Essential for publishing high-quality, robust research.

A comprehensive guide detailing the methodology for packaging, documenting, and staging research artifacts (including code, datasets, knowledge graphs, and demo systems) for CIKM conference submission. It covers best practices for licensing, provenance tracking, versioning, and transitioning artifacts from anonymous review status to citable public releases, ensuring reproducibility and adoptability.
