Skill UI

This skill extracts full transcripts and rich metadata from a single YouTube video URL. It uses yt-dlp to download subtitles, cleans VTT timing markers, and pulls video details (title, channel, date). The output is a structured, queryable Markdown file, ideal for populating a personal knowledge vault and enabling downstream knowledge graph extraction or content repurposing.

This skill is designed to capture and organize unstructured 'brain dumps'—messy streams of thoughts, ideas, and tasks—with zero information loss. It immediately structures the input into distinct, actionable sections (Projects/Ideas, Tasks, Connections, etc.), providing a clean, next-step guide. Use it whenever you are unloading a large, mixed block of thoughts and need them turned into coherent, executable plans.

This skill acts as a literature-research assistant, orchestrating a Python CLI to interface with APIs like Semantic Scholar and arXiv. It enables users to search for academic papers by topic, retrieve detailed metadata, perform impact analysis using citation tracking, download PDFs, and extract text content. It streamlines the entire academic research workflow from initial discovery to deep reading.

This advanced skill downloads Instagram posts, carousels, and Reels at their original, high resolution directly from the CDN. It supports batch processing of multiple URLs, automatically creates organized folders for each post, and stitches multi-slide carousels into a single PDF file, making content archiving and aggregation seamless.

This skill utilizes the built-in macOS `caffeinate` command to prevent the Mac from entering sleep mode. It is essential for guaranteeing uninterrupted workflow during long-running tasks, such as code builds, large downloads, or supervised automation sessions. Users can specify a fixed duration or attach the function to a specific process ID for continuous wakefulness.

A comprehensive guide for authors preparing submissions to the Academy of Management Annals. This checklist ensures you meet all rigorous requirements for both proposal and invited full review routes, covering formatting, anonymity, deadlines, and required headings. Use this before uploading to Manuscript Central.

A comprehensive preflight checklist for submitting manuscripts to the American Political Science Review (APSR). This guide emphasizes the critical steps for double-anonymous review, including stripping file metadata, properly anonymizing text to prevent author identification, and adhering to strict formatting rules (APSA Style, word counts, and abstract limits). Use this before uploading to Editorial Manager.

This skill guides the polishing and structural refinement of academic accounting manuscripts, specifically for Contemporary Accounting Research (CAR) journal submissions. It ensures the abstract is concise (≤300 words) and comprehensive, enforces front-loading of the research question and findings, and mandates strict consistency checks between constructs, proxies, and variables. It also ensures adherence to specific academic formatting rules, such as footnotes and author-date referencing.

A comprehensive project management skill designed for guiding the entire lifecycle of an ACM CCS conference submission. It maps out critical milestones, including abstract registration, full-paper upload, rebuttal periods, notification, and artifact evaluation. Users can utilize the backward-planning templates and 'big-four' deadline hopping strategies to manage complex academic deadlines effectively.

A comprehensive audit checklist designed for authors preparing HCI papers for submission to ACM CHI. This guide verifies critical aspects such as single-column formatting, adherence to word-count norms (5,000–8,000 words), mandatory sub-committee designation, and strict anonymization protocols to prevent desk rejection before uploading to PCS.

A comprehensive guide detailing the rigorous, multi-stage process of converting an accepted conference paper into its final ACM Digital Library format. It covers critical steps including de-anonymization, managing e-rights, TAPS source upload hygiene, metadata enrichment (CCS/ORCID), and ensuring long-term record fidelity for publication and citation.

A detailed auditing guide for submitting to major academic conferences, such as ECCV. It covers critical aspects including multi-stage submission deadlines (CET timezone), strict LNCS formatting rules (14 pages single-column), policy adherence (dual-submission, embargo rules), and pre-upload checks to mitigate rejection risks. Essential for researchers managing academic publishing workflows.
