Skill UI

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting the International Journal of Machine Tools and Manufacture (IJMTM). This skill helps assess the fit of a manuscript, ensuring the work elevates beyond simple parameter optimization to provide a deep, mechanistic, and quantitative understanding of manufacturing processes, machine-tool dynamics, and metrology. Essential for framing high-impact scientific contributions.

A comprehensive guide for structuring the evidence bundle required for robotics research submissions. It details the critical components—including hardware ledgers, time-stamped logs, configuration files, code, and data—necessary to ensure that scientific claims are fully auditable and reproducible, addressing the needs of skeptical reviewers.

This comprehensive guide assists authors in navigating the critical steps after manuscript acceptance in academic journals, particularly in CAD and Graphics. It covers de-anonymization (adding acknowledgments, funding, and real links), meticulous formatting checks, ensuring high print quality (resolution, color fidelity), rigorous proofreading protocols, and managing copyright requirements to ensure a smooth transition to final publication.

This tool guides authors in assessing whether their fluid mechanics manuscript is a suitable fit for the Journal of Fluid Mechanics (JFM). It emphasizes the need for fundamental physical understanding (e.g., new scaling laws, instability mechanisms) over mere demonstration of applied methods or devices. It covers rigorous standards for computation, experimentation, and theoretical analysis, serving as a crucial pre-submission framing and venue-selection resource.

This guide assists authors in determining if their manuscript on membranes and separation processes meets the rigorous standards of the Journal of Membrane Science. It emphasizes that the core contribution must be the mechanistic understanding—how the membrane structure governs transport and separation—rather than just reporting separation results. Use this skill for venue selection, manuscript re-framing, and checking against high-level scientific rigor.

This comprehensive guide provides best practices and an audit checklist for designing robust, real-world experiments in mobile and wireless communication systems. It emphasizes moving beyond simulations, detailing necessary RF setups, quantifiable energy metrics, and reporting statistical distributions to ensure high academic credibility.

This comprehensive audit checklist guides authors through the final pre-upload steps for major academic conferences like MobiCom. It covers critical areas including HotCRP site confirmation, adherence to strict formatting rules (columns, page limits), maintaining double-blind anonymity, and mitigating wireless-specific identity leaks to ensure a smooth and compliant submission process.

This comprehensive guide provides a mandatory audit checklist for authors preparing papers for the MobiSys conference. It ensures adherence to strict academic publishing rules, covering essential steps like paper registration, maintaining double-blind anonymity, adhering to the 12-page limit, and avoiding common risks such as identity leaks or dual submissions. Use this to verify submission readiness before the final deadline.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting biomedical engineering research. It assesses the manuscript's fit, biomedical significance, and translational relevance against Nature's rigorous standards. Covers scope, validation requirements (benchtop vs. clinical), structural guidelines, and official submission checklists for devices, biomaterials, and engineered systems.

This skill is designed to help authors determine if their manuscript is appropriate for submission to Progress in Energy and Combustion Science. It provides a rigorous checklist for evaluating whether a work meets the journal's high bar for critical synthesis, comprehensiveness, and authority. It guides authors to reframe primary research into an integrative, agenda-setting review, covering scope, method rigor, and specific submission requirements.

Guides drafting the one-page RSS rebuttal for above-threshold papers: invitation triage, 60/25/15 page-budget allocation, factual corrections, scoped concessions, anonymity checks, and resubmission planning when no rebuttal is invited.

This guide provides a comprehensive audit checklist for designing and evaluating sensor-based systems (SenSys). It mandates rigorous, real-world measurements across five core axes: energy efficiency, on-device latency distribution, ground truth accuracy, deployment realism, and embedded AI footprint. It ensures that research results are based on measured hardware performance, not simulations or idealized baselines.
