Skill UI

This skill acts as a comprehensive workflow router for authors preparing Operations Research (OR) manuscripts for top-tier journals. It guides the user through the entire modeling-to-submission lifecycle, mapping the necessary stages—from initial theory development and literature positioning to computational data analysis and final contribution framing. Its purpose is to ensure methodological rigor and adherence to the journal's specific, multi-stage norms.

This skill acts as an orchestrator for developing and submitting academic manuscripts targeting PMLA. It guides authors through the entire scholarly lifecycle, helping them determine the appropriate stage (e.g., argument development, theoretical framing, textual evidence) and the best venue (e.g., regular article, special feature). It ensures the work adheres to literary and language studies standards, emphasizing close reading and scholarly positioning.

This skill guides the rigorous defense of research design for demographic studies, particularly those linking population dynamics to development outcomes. It assists in selecting and justifying appropriate methods—such as life tables, decomposition, event-history modeling, and age-period-cohort analysis—and critically addresses the identification of causal links between population structure and development progress. It focuses on strengthening the argument by confronting rival hypotheses and establishing methodological rigor, without writing code.

Provides comprehensive guidelines for constructing self-contained, highly legible tables and figures for population and development research manuscripts. It emphasizes that exhibits must communicate not only raw demographic patterns but also their broader development and policy significance to a wide, non-specialist readership (e.g., economists, environmental scholars). Key principles include showing uncertainty, using appropriate specialized graphics (e.g., population pyramids, survival curves), and maintaining data reproducibility.

An expert orchestrator and routing guide for manuscripts submitted to the Population and Development Review (PDR). It helps users determine the appropriate specialization path, whether they are starting an idea, refining the theory, or finalizing the submission. It matches the content's lifecycle stage and article type (e.g., Research Article, Notes & Commentary) to the correct development pipeline, ensuring the deep connection between population dynamics and societal policy is maintained.

This guide details the rigorous process for packaging and evaluating mechanized proofs (e.g., in Coq, Isabelle, Lean, Agda) submitted for academic conferences. It outlines criteria for achieving Functional, Reusable, and Available badges, focusing heavily on completing the formal development, auditing axioms, and ensuring perfect reproducibility by pinning toolchains and mapping theorems to source files.

This specialized router guides the entire manuscript development process for submissions to The Review of Economics and Statistics (REStat). It does not replace specialized skills but systematically directs users through the full research pipeline—from initial topic selection and causal identification to robustness testing, figure creation, and rebuttal strategy—ensuring a structured approach to applied econometrics research.

This guide outlines the rigorous standards for establishing causal claims in development economics and social sciences. It covers robust quantitative methods (like DID, IV, RDD, RCT) and structured qualitative/mixed-methods approaches. The core principle is that the logical route from evidence to claim must be explicitly defensible and matched to the strength of the assertion, avoiding over-claiming.

A comprehensive guide for preparing replication and transparency packages for World Development manuscripts. It provides checklists and best practices for both quantitative (code reproducibility, data provenance, de-identification) and qualitative (evidence-to-claim trail, methods appendix) research. It addresses ethical constraints and the unique challenges of double-anonymized review.

This guide helps researchers move beyond decorative theory to construct 'load-bearing' conceptual or analytical frameworks for World Development (WD) manuscripts. It outlines how to transform vague ideas into structured, testable mechanisms by stating clear mechanisms, deriving discriminating predictions, mapping predictions to evidence, and defining scope conditions, ensuring the theory actively drives the empirical argument.

This guide provides a comprehensive framework for researchers to assess if their development-related work is suitable for World Development (WD). It moves beyond mere methodological rigor, focusing instead on the paper's multidisciplinary relevance, real-world policy stakes, and ability to advance global understanding of development problems (e.g., poverty, governance, inequality). It helps authors ensure their findings appeal to a broad academic and policy audience.

This skill acts as the central orchestrator for contributors to The Yale Law Journal (YLJ). It guides the user through the entire submission lifecycle, from initial topic selection and thesis development to Bluebook citation checking and final placement strategy. It emphasizes that submissions must be near-final, highly structured, and fully footnoted, directing the user to the appropriate skill path based on the article's track (Article, Note, Feature, etc.) and current stage.
