A comprehensive guide for researchers aiming to submit manuscripts to the Journal on Communications (JOC). It helps users assess if their topic fits the core communication discipline (theory, wireless, networking, security, signal processing) and distinguishes it from related academic journals. The guide also assists in selecting the appropriate article type and ensuring sufficient innovation and empirical rigor before submission.

This comprehensive guide details the formatting and structural requirements for submitting technical articles to the Journal on Communications (JOC). It covers every aspect, including the official writing order, structured abstracts (Purpose/Method/Result/Conclusion), mandatory classification codes, precise units and symbols, figure/table standards, and detailed referencing according to GB/T 7714. Use this guide to ensure your manuscript passes the initial editorial review process.

A comprehensive checklist for pre-submission review of academic manuscripts, specifically targeting the requirements of major journals like JOP. This guide verifies critical elements such as double-blind anonymity, adherence to strict page budgets (e.g., Research Articles ≤ 35 pages), correct formatting (double-spaced, 12pt), and proper management of online appendices. Using this checklist helps authors minimize the risk of desk rejection due to formatting or procedural errors.

This skill guides political science scholars through the rigorous process of assessing whether their research project meets the high standards of top-tier journals (e.g., The Journal of Politics). It focuses on evaluating the work for general interest, theoretical innovation, methodological diversity, and appropriate scope (Research Article vs. Short Article) to maximize publication chances.

An essential orchestrator for academic manuscripts submitting to specialized journals. This router guides authors through the entire publishing lifecycle—from initial idea generation and literature positioning to final submission and rebuttal. It assesses the article's scope (Research Article vs. Short Article), manages page limitations, and ensures early focus on data replicability, directing users to the precise sub-skill needed at any stage.

A comprehensive guide for researchers to determine if their work aligns with the scope of the Journal of Software (JOS). It provides crucial criteria for distinguishing JOS from other major computer science publications, assisting in article type selection, and identifying potential revision signals to ensure strong software engineering focus.

This guide provides a comprehensive checklist for writing and refining technical papers for the Journal of Software (JOS). It covers structuring the abstract, mastering the introduction narrative arc, ensuring terminology consistency, and adhering to strict citation standards (GB/T 7714). Use this when submitting a draft to a Chinese academic journal, aiming to transform the manuscript into a highly polished, professional piece that meets the rigorous standards of the Chinese software engineering community.

This skill guides authors in assessing whether their economic research is suitable for the Journal of Economic Perspectives (JEP). JEP specializes in publishing accessible, non-technical, and synthetic articles aimed at a broad readership of economists. It helps authors shift their focus from complex empirical estimations to clear exposition, balanced synthesis, and general intellectual framing, providing a comprehensive pre-submission checklist.

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting the Journal of the American Chemical Society (JACS). It details the journal's positioning, scope requirements across various chemical sub-fields (organic, inorganic, physical, etc.), the required depth of evidence, article structure (Communications vs. Articles), and provides a detailed checklist to prevent common desk-reject mistakes. Use this when refining a chemistry manuscript for a top-tier publication.

This guide details the rigorous review process for the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management (JPAM). It helps authors pre-empt potential objections—from desk screening to cross-disciplinary peer review—by detailing expected standards, article types, and the criteria for acceptance or rejection. Use this before submission to stress-test your manuscript and maximize acceptance chances.

An essential orchestrator for authors submitting to the Journal of Policy Analysis and Management (JPAM). This skill guides authors through the entire academic writing lifecycle, routing them based on the article type, stage, and required methodological rigor. It ensures the paper maintains strong policy relevance and credible causal identification, bridging economics, political science, and public management.

A mandatory skill for original research articles, designed to create The Lancet's signature 'Research in context' panel. This panel forces authors to synthesize their findings within a systematic evidence base by detailing what was known previously (with documented search strategies), outlining the specific added value of the current study, and discussing the collective implications for clinical practice and public health policy.
