Skill UI

This skill operates on two layers: the THINK layer enforces rigorous coding discipline (simplicity, surgical changes, goal-driven execution), and the SPEAK layer compresses prose output (caveman/classical modes) for maximum token efficiency. Use it when brevity is explicitly requested or when disciplined, high-precision code generation is required.

This comprehensive skill assists authors in determining if their Earth or space science manuscript is suitable for Geophysical Research Letters (GRL). It provides detailed guidelines covering journal positioning, required scope (atmosphere, ocean, solid earth, etc.), the method and evidence bar, strict house style rules (brevity, structure, figures), and a final pre-submission checklist. It is designed to help authors re-frame and maximize the impact of single, highly significant findings.

This guide teaches the 'trust-minimum principle' for writing methods sections in short scientific letters (like PRL). It instructs authors on how to rigorously partition their work, keeping only the essential, trust-bearing details (setup, key controls, uncertainties) in the body, while relegating full derivations and extensive apparatus details to the Supplemental Material (SM). This ensures brevity without sacrificing scientific credibility.

This guide teaches authors how to structure and write a concise, evidence-based response during the academic rebuttal window (e.g., TACAS). It focuses on correcting factual misreadings, proving algorithm soundness, addressing evaluation fairness, and providing verifiable evidence, rather than rewriting the paper. It emphasizes brevity and targeted argumentation.

A two-layer skill combining disciplined coding practices with terse prose output. The THINK layer enforces surgical edits, simplicity, and goal-driven execution before writing code. The SPEAK layer compresses responses into 'caveman' style for token efficiency, removing filler words while preserving technical accuracy. Ideal for requests requiring brevity, token efficiency, or rigorous engineering discipline.
