This guide provides a framework for generating high-quality, self-explanatory exhibits for empirical academic manuscripts, particularly for fields like Operations Management. It covers creating descriptive statistics, correlation matrices, complex regression/SEM results, interaction plots, and process figures. The focus is on adhering to rigorous standards, ensuring all evidence is readable without accompanying text, and meeting APA style guidelines for publication.

This skill guides researchers in elevating observed findings into rigorously theoretical, generalizable, and falsifiable arguments suitable for top-tier academic journals. It provides structured methods for building mechanisms (empirical), defining comparative statics (formal), and establishing conceptual claims (normative). Use this when you need to prove that your contribution is novel, sharp, and matters to a general readership.

This guide helps authors structure the Related Work section for top-tier academic journals like the Journal of Software. It focuses on demonstrating incremental contribution (delta-first positioning), structuring the review across multiple software disciplines (e.g., SE, Systems, Databases), ensuring balanced citations (international vs. domestic), and building comprehensive classification frameworks for review papers.

This guide helps structure the conceptual framework (Theory of Change or Logic Model) for policy research. It moves beyond simple correlation by explicitly mapping the causal chain: identifying the policy lever, the underlying mechanism, and the predicted outcome. It is crucial for establishing external validity and defining scope conditions so that empirical findings can be generalized and actionable by policymakers in different settings.

This guide helps researchers transform empirical findings into robust, generalizable theoretical contributions suitable for top-tier academic journals. It teaches the structured process of defining core constructs, establishing causal mechanisms, identifying observable implications, and setting clear scope boundaries, ensuring the work meets high academic standards for theoretical portability.

This tool is used when an economic research paper requires explicit theoretical modeling or a clear causal mechanism to explain empirical results. It focuses on building and disciplining the underlying economic argument, ensuring that empirical findings are connected to fundamental economic forces, general equilibrium, and rigorous theoretical predictions. It helps transform descriptive findings into testable, theoretically sound research.

This skill guides the development of the theoretical framework for policy-related manuscripts, focusing on building a rigorous 'theory of the policy lever.' It helps users account for the mechanism by which a mandated rule, restriction, or default changes marketplace behavior, considering unintended consequences, strategic firm responses, and the effect on vulnerable populations. It moves theory beyond simple hypothesis generation.

A comprehensive guide for structuring a multi-study manuscript, particularly for high-tier journals. This skill focuses on building a coherent set of related studies—rather than a single experiment—to robustly test a major theory. It guides users through sequencing studies, determining necessary power, selecting appropriate designs (longitudinal, dyadic, experimental), and implementing preregistration to ensure convergence and internal validity.

Provides comprehensive guidelines for building and validating complex structural economic models, including CGE, IO, and Structural Decomposition. It emphasizes mandatory elements like explicit data sourcing, parameter calibration, macroeconomic closure rules, and scenario reproducibility to ensure models are not 'black boxes' and are scientifically rigorous.

This guide teaches how to elevate descriptive linguistic data (such as glossed patterns or corpus trends) into robust, theoretically grounded claims. It outlines the necessary structure for presenting an argument with explicit assumptions, testable predictions, and critical engagement with competing theoretical frameworks, moving beyond mere description to achieve genuine theoretical depth.

This tool acts as an orchestrator for submissions to the journal *Language* (LSA). It guides authors through the complex manuscript development process by identifying the appropriate piece type (e.g., General Research Article, Review Article) and routing them to the necessary specialized skills (e.g., theory building, literature positioning, data analysis). It helps authors structure their work and ensure theoretical depth and cross-subfield legibility.

This skill polishes the prose and ensures the house style of a linguistics manuscript, making it legible to a general audience across diverse subfields and frameworks. It focuses on structuring the argument for clarity, defining jargon, leading with the main claim, and conforming citations to the specific Language Style Sheet, rather than building the core theoretical argument itself.
