Pyvene is a declarative framework designed for performing causal interventions on PyTorch neural networks. It allows researchers to conduct advanced experiments such as activation patching, causal tracing (ROME-style), and interchange intervention training (IIT). Use this library when you need to test causal hypotheses about model behavior, deeply interpret model components, or ensure reproducibility in advanced AI research.

This guide provides stringent methodological standards for establishing credible causal claims in empirical policy manuscripts. It covers advanced econometric techniques—including Difference-in-Differences (DiD), Instrumental Variables (IV), Regression Discontinuity Design (RDD), and Randomized Controlled Trials (RCT)—required to move beyond mere correlation and prove that the observed effect is genuinely caused by the policy intervention.

This guide provides a rigorous framework for evaluating whether a research question is suitable for high-impact policy journals (like JPAM). It trains users to structure ideas by confirming three critical elements: establishing a specific, policy-relevant intervention (the policy), identifying the decision-maker and the counterfactual choice (the decision), and confirming a credible, causal design (exogenous variation). It ensures the research has both empirical rigor and real-world policy stake.

A comprehensive skill for assessing whether a neuroscience manuscript meets the exacting standards of a top-tier journal. It guides authors through evaluating the conceptual advance, mandatory multi-level integration (molecular to behavioral), the necessity of causal intervention, and adhering to strict structural and methodological requirements (e.g., STAR Methods, data availability). Ideal for researchers aiming to refine their work before submission.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting to venues focused on probabilistic AI, including UAI. It emphasizes achieving maximum formal rigor by enforcing strict notational discipline, clearly separating conditioning from intervention, explicitly stating assumptions, structuring the main body for maximum impact, and calibrating claims to match empirical evidence. Essential for papers involving graphical models, causality, and Bayesian methods.
