This skill provides a comprehensive fit and formatting guide for submitting high-impact clinical and surgical research to European Urology. It assesses the study's required evidence level, adherence to specific reporting guidelines (e.g., CONSORT, STROBE), and alignment with EAU/Elsevier house style. It is a vital aid for authors needing to re-frame their work for optimal journal acceptance.

This skill is a comprehensive guide for authors targeting the journal Gut (BMJ). It helps users assess the fit of their GI or hepatology manuscript, covering the journal's specific scope, required evidence standards (clinical, mechanistic, epidemiological), house style, and official submission checklists. It ensures submissions adhere to the rigorous standards of BMJ.

This comprehensive guide assists researchers preparing liver biology or disease studies for submission to Hepatology (AASLD). It meticulously reviews the journal's scope, evidence bar, reporting guidelines (e.g., CONSORT, STROBE), and required structure. It helps authors determine if their mechanistic or clinical work is rigorous enough and appropriately framed for a top-tier, international audience.

A comprehensive heuristic tool and guide for authors targeting JAMA. It assesses manuscript fit, methodological rigor (including adherence to CONSORT, PRISMA, STROBE guidelines), structured abstract formatting, and the latest AMA house style. Use this before submitting a high-impact clinical or scientific manuscript to ensure compliance with top-tier journal standards.

A comprehensive guide for academic authors detailing mandatory compliance requirements for high-impact publications. This checklist covers essential elements such as prospective clinical trial registration, IRB/ethics approval statements, obtaining informed consent, adhering to ICMJE authorship criteria, disclosing conflicts of interest, and providing detailed data-sharing plans. Use this when preparing a manuscript for submission to major medical journals.

This comprehensive guide helps researchers evaluate whether a clinical or health-services study is appropriate for publication in JAMA Internal Medicine. It details the journal's high bar for methodological rigor, including requirements for randomized trials (CONSORT), observational studies (STROBE), and systematic reviews (PRISMA). It covers everything from study design and statistical reporting to addressing potential desk-reject triggers, ensuring authors submit high-quality, impactful research.

A comprehensive guide designed to help researchers assess the suitability and structure of clinical neurology studies for submission to JAMA Neurology. It covers scope fit, evidence requirements (e.g., validated endpoints, adequate power), mandated reporting guidelines (CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA), and specific journal house style and submission checklists. This is a venue-fit aid, not clinical advice.

This skill provides a comprehensive guide for authors submitting clinical, translational, or epidemiological oncology studies to JAMA Oncology. It covers venue fit assessment, required methodological rigor (e.g., RCTs, RWE, biomarker validation), mandatory reporting guidelines (CONSORT, STROBE, PRISMA), and adherence to the journal's specific house style and submission checklist. It is a crucial pre-submission aid, ensuring the research addresses a clinically meaningful, decision-relevant question.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting psychiatric, epidemiological, or neuropsychiatric research to JAMA Psychiatry. It assesses the study's fit, required methodological rigor (e.g., CONSORT, STROBE), and adherence to the journal's specific reporting guidelines and house style. It helps authors re-frame their work to ensure clinical relevance and suitability for publication.

This comprehensive guide maps various study designs (e.g., RCT, Observational, Systematic Review) to mandatory reporting checklists and flow diagrams (such as CONSORT, PRISMA, STROBE, STARD). It ensures researchers meet the rigorous, standardized reporting requirements for top-tier medical journal submissions.

This guide provides a structured checklist and framework for researchers to assess whether their clinical study meets the general-medical-importance bar of top-tier journals, such as JAMA. It helps authors determine if their findings are broadly relevant to practicing clinicians, if the evidence level is sufficient, and if the article type matches the journal's requirements, preventing premature submission.

A comprehensive guide for authors preparing medical manuscripts for high-impact journals. It outlines rigorous standards for statistical reporting, emphasizing the use of effect sizes with 95% Confidence Intervals (CIs) over p-values alone. Key topics include pre-specification, intention-to-treat analysis, multiplicity control, handling missing data through imputation, and reporting both relative and absolute effects to ensure maximum statistical rigor and reproducibility.
