Skill UI

A comprehensive guide for NLP researchers on strategically positioning their work before writing. It teaches how to determine the core linguistic contribution, select the optimal academic venue (ACL, EMNLP, etc.), manage the scope (long vs. short papers), and align the research focus with specific conference themes and review expectations, maximizing publication impact.

Plan an ACL paper across ACL Rolling Review cycles: choose a cycle against conference commitment windows, backward-plan from the ARR deadline, track review, response and meta-review timing, decide commitment, loop resubmissions, and reach camera-ready and ACL Anthology publication.

A comprehensive tool for authors targeting the ACM Asia Conference on Computer and Communications Security (ASIACCS). It provides expert guidance on assessing whether a computer and communications security manuscript is a strong fit for this specific, high-impact venue. Topics covered include conference fit assessment, evidence bar establishment, manuscript re-framing strategies, threat modeling, and proper community positioning for maximum review impact.

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting top Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) conferences like CHI. It helps authors position their manuscripts, define required contribution types (e.g., system, dataset, empirical finding), and structure the paper to meet the rigorous standards of human-centered computing reviewers, focusing on user experience and design implication.

This skill guides authors on positioning their manuscript for the ACM/IEEE International Conference on Human-Robot Interaction (HRI). It helps determine if the work fits the venue, how to re-frame the narrative, and what evidence (user studies, interaction contribution) is expected by HRI reviewers. Ideal for pre-submission strategy and scope calibration in human-robot interaction research.

A comprehensive guide for computer science authors targeting high-performance parallel and distributed computing venues like HPDC. It assists in conference fit evaluation, manuscript re-framing (from journal/arXiv to conference narrative), identifying evidence gaps, and structuring contributions for optimal review success in cloud/HPC systems and distributed settings. Ideal for determining submission strategy.

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting ACM MobiCom. It assists in conference fit assessment, manuscript re-framing, and strengthening the evidence base for mobile networking and wireless systems papers. Learn how to position your work against specific venue requirements, distinguish contributions (e.g., networking vs. platform), and structure your paper for optimal review impact.

This skill guides authors and researchers on how to strategically position their computer graphics, rendering, or visual computing work for the ACM SIGGRAPH conference. It covers core fit assessment, required evidence (visual, mathematical, or system), manuscript reframing from journal/arXiv styles, and navigating venue-specific submission requirements. Use this tool to improve your conference submission strategy and maximize visibility among top graphics reviewers.

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting the ACM SIGIR conference on Information Retrieval. This skill helps determine the venue fit, structure the manuscript narrative, and ensure the research meets the high standards expected by top-tier IR reviewers. It covers core topics like search, ranking, recommendation, and the necessary evidence bar (e.g., strong baselines, test collections) for successful submission.

This comprehensive guide helps authors position and structure systems-focused manuscripts for top-tier conferences like SOSP. It covers defining the core contribution (abstraction, architecture, mechanism), optimizing the narrative for systems reviewers, and strengthening the empirical evidence bar in operating systems and distributed computing.

A comprehensive guide for structuring research artifacts (code, models, datasets, media) for ACM Multimedia conferences. It details the distinct requirements for anonymous review packages versus permanent public releases, offering guidelines on ethics, licensing, reproducibility, and track-specific documentation.

A comprehensive guide for drafting professional and strategic rebuttals for major academic conferences, such as ACM Multimedia. Learn how to triage reviewer comments, structure arguments for the Area Chair, address factual errors, and incorporate small, confirmatory results while maintaining anonymity and adhering to strict policy guardrails.
