A comprehensive guide for structuring and refining the literature review section of academic manuscripts for top-tier finance and economics journals. It covers the mandatory three-layer structure (Theory, Empirical Evidence, Contribution Gap), optimal Chinese/English citation ratios, and techniques for developing a 'dialogue-based' narrative rather than a simple list, ensuring clear positioning relative to the field's classic theories and recent publications.

This comprehensive guide assists scholars in rigorously refining and validating academic research topics for top-tier finance and economics journals. It provides a structured checklist covering theoretical contribution, fit with China's current reality, and defining marginal contributions, ensuring the manuscript meets the high standards required for successful publication.

This guide details best practices for structuring and writing the "Related Work" section for top-tier Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) conferences like CHI. It emphasizes moving beyond mere literature inventory to actively positioning your contribution by identifying research gaps across various disciplinary lanes (e.g., Psychology, Design, HCI family). Following these guidelines is crucial for avoiding desk rejection due to insufficient contextualization.

This guide teaches authors how to strategically position their human-computer interaction (HCI) research for top-tier conferences like CHI. It covers identifying the core contribution type (e.g., theory, empirical study, system artifact), determining the most suitable venue (e.g., UIST, CSCW, DIS), and selecting the appropriate reviewing subcommittees to maximize acceptance chances and impact.

A comprehensive guide for drafting and revising academic papers for the ACM CHI conference. It provides detailed instructions on structuring explicit contribution statements, calibrating claims, ethically handling participant quotes, and ensuring accessibility for mixed-expertise review juries. Essential for those submitting research in HCI and related fields.

This guide provides rigorous methodological standards for authors submitting economic papers to the China Economic Quarterly (CEQ). It emphasizes aligning research with international top-field standards, requiring clean causal identification, structural modeling, and advanced econometric techniques (e.g., modern DID, IV, RDD). Use this to strengthen your paper's technical rigor and ensure its contribution is methodologically sound for top-tier Chinese journals.

This guide outlines the rigorous academic requirements for submissions to the China Sport Science journal. It covers both natural sciences (physiology, biomechanics, exercise medicine) and social sciences (sports sociology, policy, management). Submissions must address core sport science ontology problems with high methodological rigor, ensuring the contribution is central to the field, rather than merely applying other disciplines.

This skill provides a comprehensive guide for authors targeting high-level Chinese academic journals in the field of management science. It assists users in determining if their manuscript's theoretical contribution, methodological rigor, and practical context align with the journal's specific requirements. It covers journal positioning, required theoretical frameworks, structural improvements, and common publishing pitfalls.

This guide teaches writers how to move beyond a literature review to effectively position their argument within an ongoing academic 'conversation.' It outlines the structural map required: identifying the core intellectual debate, pinpointing the existing assumptions (standing view), defining the gap or contradiction (pressure point), and clearly stating the essay's unique contribution (move) and potential implications (payoff). Ideal for advanced academic writing, critical theory, and interdisciplinary research.

This guide provides rigorous standards for crafting academic literature reviews, particularly for specialized journals in economics. It instructs authors to move beyond simple citation listing and instead structure the review around identified research gaps. The required structure emphasizes a clear progression from 'Current Status' to 'Deficiencies' and finally to 'Novel Positioning,' ensuring the paper's marginal contribution is clearly derived from a knowledge gap.

A comprehensive guide for researchers on developing robust and original economic topics, particularly within the context of Chinese industrial economics. It emphasizes structuring research around clean policy quasi-experiments, quantifiable empirical facts, and defining 3-5 distinct marginal contributions to ensure scholarly depth and avoid common pitfalls.

This guide details the complex requirements for writing the 'Related Work' section for CIKM submissions. It emphasizes the need for 'three-front coverage' (Retrieval, Mining, and Knowledge Management/Databases) and provides specific instructions on writing the 'boundary-work paragraph.' It also covers critical academic hygiene, such as avoiding venue misattribution, maintaining recency baselines, and accurately stating novel contributions.
