This skill analyzes intrusion activity against the Lockheed Martin Cyber Kill Chain framework. It identifies which attack phases an adversary has completed, points where defenses failed or succeeded, and recommends controls to disrupt the attack at earlier stages. It is essential for post-incident analysis, threat intelligence reporting, and designing robust defense-in-depth strategies.

Simulates advanced persistent threat (APT) activity across the entire cyber kill chain, from reconnaissance to data exfiltration. It evaluates an organization's detection, prevention, and response capabilities using MITRE ATT&CK-aligned techniques, moving beyond typical vulnerability scanning. Ideal for objective-based assessments and purple teaming.

A comprehensive guide for authors targeting the International Symposium on Research in Attacks, Intrusions and Defenses (RAID). This skill helps authors optimize their paper's positioning, strengthen the evidence chain (focusing on operational relevance and realistic evaluation), and structure submissions to meet the rigorous standards of top-tier cybersecurity conferences, thereby maximizing acceptance chances. It covers scope alignment, contribution types, and structural best practices.
