A comprehensive guide for authors submitting papers related to web search, ranking, and data mining to WSDM. It provides critical advice on conference fit assessment, proper manuscript re-framing, required evidence (retrieval/ranking baselines, platform-aware evaluation), and how to position the work against competing top venues like SIGIR and KDD.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting data mining papers to the ACM SIGKDD Conference. It helps authors assess the manuscript's fit, reframe the contribution (e.g., from journal to conference style), and strengthens the evidence bar by focusing on novelty, scale, reproducibility, and clear real-world impact required by top-tier data science venues.

A comprehensive ethical framework for anthropological research (AA), focusing on accountability, informed consent, and the 'ethics of care.' This skill guides researchers on protecting vulnerable populations, handling cultural heritage, human remains, and determining what data can and cannot be shared. It emphasizes that protecting people always overrides data sharing requirements.

This tool serves as the central entry point and orchestrator for drafting an American Political Science Review (APSR) manuscript. It guides authors through the complex academic publishing lifecycle by determining the paper's specific track (e.g., Regular Article, Synthesis, Registered Report) and its current developmental stage (e.g., Idea, Theory, Data Analysis). It does not draft content; rather, it routes the user to the most relevant sub-skill for the next step in the writing process.

A comprehensive guide for designing rigorous and robust empirical programs in Information Retrieval, Data Mining, and Knowledge Management. It outlines how to meet the stringent evidence requirements for top-tier conferences, ensuring claims are substantiated across multiple evaluation dimensions (retrieval, mechanism, scalability) and incorporating best practices for reproducibility and handling modern challenges like LLM contamination.

This guide details the complex requirements for writing the 'Related Work' section for CIKM submissions. It emphasizes the need for 'three-front coverage' (Retrieval, Mining, and Knowledge Management/Databases) and provides specific instructions on writing the 'boundary-work paragraph.' It also covers critical academic hygiene, such as avoiding venue misattribution, maintaining recency baselines, and accurately stating novel contributions.

This guide provides an in-depth analysis of the CIKM peer review process, which operates under double-blind rules and integrates perspectives from three distinct fields: Information Retrieval, Data Mining, and Knowledge Management. It details how authors can optimize their submissions to satisfy diverse expert standards, how to interpret complex, multi-faceted review reports, and the critical dynamics that determine a paper's acceptance status.

This guide helps researchers assess if their work correctly spans the tri-community area of Information Retrieval, Data Mining, and Knowledge Management. It provides a detailed framework for comparing CIKM against major academic venues like SIGIR, KDD, WSDM, and SIGMOD/VLDB, ensuring the paper's scope is optimally matched to the target conference.

This comprehensive guide provides expert advice on structuring and polishing research manuscripts for multi-disciplinary academic venues like CIKM. It details how to satisfy reviewers from Information Retrieval, Data Mining, and Knowledge Management simultaneously, covering the optimal structure for the opening page, vocabulary discipline, budget compression, and effective title optimization.

This tool serves as the comprehensive orchestrator for manuscripts submitted to Demography (PAA). It guides authors through the entire population science publishing lifecycle. By assessing the manuscript's current stage (e.g., topic selection, research design, data analysis, rebuttal) and determining the appropriate article type (Research Article, Note, or Commentary), it routes the user to the next specialized skill or writing phase required for successful submission.

This skill guides authors on determining the suitability of their ecology manuscript for *Ecology Letters*. It assesses conceptual ambition, methodological rigor, scope fit (e.g., macroecology, theory-data integration), and adherence to the journal's unique short-form structure and high standards. Use it before submission to ensure the paper meets the journal's requirement for a single, clear, general principle.

This skill acts as the central orchestrator for preparing Environmental Science & Technology (ES&T) manuscripts. It guides users through the complex submission pipeline by determining the optimal article type (e.g., Research Article, Critical Review, Policy Analysis) and the current stage of writing, ensuring the content maintains clear environmental significance. It routes users to specific sub-skills like data analysis, literature positioning, and writing style.
