Skill UI

This skill provides a strategic guide for authors evaluating if their AI/data mining manuscript is a suitable fit for the ECML PKDD conference. It covers scope definition, evidence requirements, academic framing, and strategic positioning relative to major global venues (e.g., ICML, NeurIPS). Use this to refine your submission narrative and maximize your chances of acceptance.

This skill guides authors in determining the suitability of their manuscripts for the journal Genome Biology. It details the journal's scope, which requires integrating large-scale genomic or epigenomic data with novel computational methods or statistical frameworks. It emphasizes that successful submissions must provide both methodological advances and meaningful biological insights, adhering strictly to standards like open-source code, public data deposition (GEO, SRA, ENCODE), and rigorous benchmarking.

Provides comprehensive guidelines for packaging research artifacts (code, data, logs) for submission to data mining conferences like ICDM. The focus is on ensuring the artifact is completely anonymous for triple-blind review (scrubbing Git history, paths, and internal names) and maximizing reproducibility, allowing reviewers to verify results with minimal effort.

A comprehensive guide for authors preparing submissions for top-tier data mining conferences (e.g., ICDM). It emphasizes the critical strategy of preemptively addressing potential weaknesses—such as baselines, variance, scaling, and data leakage—directly within the submitted manuscript, as author rebuttals are often not permitted. Also provides strict guidelines for drafting anonymous, high-impact responses if a rebuttal window is available.

A comprehensive guide for researchers designing and auditing empirical evaluations for data mining papers (e.g., ICDM). It teaches how to structure a trustworthy evaluation by defining operational tasks, conducting ablation studies to isolate mechanisms, proving scalability, and implementing known-truth checks to ensure findings are valid and not mere artifacts.

A comprehensive guide detailing how to structure the 'Related Work' section for submissions to top data mining conferences like ICDM. It emphasizes positioning the research based on core mechanisms and mining tasks, rather than simply listing results. The guide also provides critical advice on maintaining triple-blind anonymity, verifying citation venues (avoiding misattribution traps), and ensuring the novelty claim is distilled into a single, quotable mechanism-contrast sentence.

A comprehensive guide for ensuring the reproducibility of data mining research for top-tier conferences like ICDM. It addresses the unique challenges of triple-blind review and strict page limits by detailing necessary artifacts, such as configuration files, seed lists, and anonymized packages. Learn how to achieve Rerunnable, Rebuildable, or Attested reproducibility tiers to solidify your scientific claims.

This guide details the specialized review mechanics for top data mining conferences like ICDM. It covers the triple-blind process, the unique Accept-as-Short outcome, and the no-rebuttal posture. Learn how to structure your paper and interpret complex decision packets to maximize acceptance chances.

This comprehensive guide outlines the strict requirements and protocols for submitting papers to the IEEE International Conference on Data Mining (ICDM). It details the crucial differences between the Research and Applied tracks, emphasizing the triple-blind anonymity regime. Key points include adhering to the strict 10-page IEEE format (including references and appendices), avoiding identity leaks in the body or metadata, and understanding the single, non-negotiable submission deadline. Failure to follow these guidelines results in automatic rejection.

This guide assists researchers in determining the best fit for their data mining research project. It compares the contribution against major conferences (ICDM, KDD, SDM, etc.) and helps decide the appropriate track (Research, Applied, Blue Sky) based on the nature of the mechanism, evidence, and intended scope for optimal academic impact.

This skill offers a comprehensive project management framework for the end-to-end submission process of data mining research to major conferences like ICDM. It guides users through critical milestones, including topic selection, experimental design, abstract submission, and final camera-ready preparation. It emphasizes backward planning from the final deadline, addressing unique constraints such as no-rebuttal policies, short-paper contingencies, and strict page limits.

A comprehensive guide for revising technical manuscripts intended for premier data mining conferences like ICDM. It teaches authors to shift focus from model-centric claims to data-regime-first narratives, emphasizing measurable evidence, mechanistic detail, and adhering to strict academic constraints (e.g., triple-blind format, page limits).
