Skill UI

A comprehensive skill guide for authors targeting Nature Human Behaviour. It assesses the fit of cross-disciplinary behavioral science manuscripts across psychology, neuroscience, economics, and sociology. The guide emphasizes open science practices, including preregistration, large-N designs, causal inference, and mandatory data transparency, ensuring submissions meet the journal's rigorous standards.

A comprehensive self-check tool for authors targeting Nature Water. It guides the framing, scope, methodological rigor, and structural requirements necessary for submitting high-impact research in water science, hydrology, and environmental engineering. Focuses on connecting technical findings to broad societal challenges and ensuring FAIR data compliance.

A comprehensive skill for assessing whether a neuroscience manuscript meets the exacting standards of a top-tier journal. It guides authors through evaluating the conceptual advance, mandatory multi-level integration (molecular to behavioral), the necessity of causal intervention, and adhering to strict structural and methodological requirements (e.g., STAR Methods, data availability). Ideal for researchers aiming to refine their work before submission.

A comprehensive guide for authors designing figures and tables for Nature Geoscience manuscripts. It outlines strict rules for adhering to a limited figure budget (4-6 display items), ensuring the lead figure immediately conveys the core Earth-system advance and its uncertainty, and maintaining high standards of cartography and data visualization for non-specialist readership.

This guide provides a structured framework for authors aiming to submit manuscripts to Nature Geoscience. It details how to comply with strict journal limits on word count, display items, and references. By implementing a triage order—such as moving protocols to Online Methods and extended data to Supplementary Information—authors can ensure the main text remains focused, concise, and impactful.

This guide outlines best practices for Nature Geoscience authors, detailing how to separate essential narrative (Main Text) from comprehensive, reproducible documentation (Online Methods). It emphasizes grounding every quantitative claim, quantifying uncertainty, and ensuring full data and code availability to meet high academic standards and pass rigorous peer review.

This guide provides a structured methodology for authors to transform raw scientific data and multiple findings into a single, cohesive, and high-impact narrative, suitable for top-tier journals like Nature Geoscience. It focuses on identifying the single 'headline advance,' structuring the abstract using the 'Here we show' convention, and ensuring the opening paragraphs immediately convey significance to the Earth system.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting to Nature Geoscience. This checklist covers all necessary pre-submission steps, including verifying word counts, ensuring consistent formatting, completing critical compliance files (data/code availability, reporting summary), and auditing metadata, ensuring your manuscript is fully prepared for editorial review.

A comprehensive guide for authors submitting to Nature Geoscience. It details the critical distinction between the main article text, online Methods, and Supplementary Information (SI). Learn how to ensure your core findings are stand-alone and decisive, while relegating extensive datasets, model ensembles, and derivations to the SI, maintaining academic rigor and clarity.

This skill provides comprehensive guidance for submitting research to npj Computational Materials. It defines the journal's scope, requiring rigorous computational methods (DFT, MD, ML, high-throughput screening) that yield generalizable materials insights or predictive capabilities. It educates authors on the required standards, including methodological rigor, reproducibility, and adherence to FAIR data principles, helping authors re-frame their work for a high-impact venue.

This guide provides comprehensive standards for analyzing and reporting results in Organization Science, a field characterized by diverse methodologies. It ensures methodological rigor and transparency whether the work is qualitative (establishing trustworthiness), quantitative (matching estimators to design), computational (reporting seeds and sensitivity), or formal/analytical. It emphasizes full reproducibility and mechanism-based inference.

This router guides researchers through the entire lifecycle of an Organization Science manuscript, from initial topic selection and theory development to data analysis, contribution framing, and final submission. It does not replace specialized skills but provides a structured roadmap, helping users determine the correct next step and maintain coherence throughout the complex academic writing process.
