Skill UI

This skill guides researchers through the critical pre-writing process of evaluating a scientific finding's scope, mechanistic depth, and significance. It stress-tests whether the work constitutes a complete, hypothesis-driven story suitable for top-tier journals, helping authors determine if they need to strengthen the mechanism, collect more converging evidence, or adjust their target journal venue.

This guide details how to move beyond simple mediation analysis to establish robust, theory-driven causal mechanisms. It outlines advanced econometric strategies, such as exclusion methods, pre-specified heterogeneity testing, and temporal analysis, required to distinguish a primary effect from competing channels, meeting high academic standards.

This guide outlines rigorous standards for conducting heterogeneity analysis in economic research. It stresses that heterogeneity should not merely involve slicing data by region or size, but must be theoretically driven, linking multiple dimensions (e.g., ownership, financing constraints, industry type) to core economic mechanisms. The analysis must demonstrate significant group differences and clearly connect findings to differential policy implications, elevating the discussion from mere observation to actionable policy science.

A comprehensive guide for structuring literature reviews and clearly positioning novel contributions for top-tier academic journals. It emphasizes the critical "dual-lane" approach: analyzing both local Chinese academic literature and global international research findings. Learn how to define the gap, state the methodological increment, and articulate the unique findings in a structured, dialogue-driven manner, anticipating reviewer questions.

A comprehensive guide for translating complex, real-world management settings into formal, rigorous mathematical models suitable for high-level academic journals. It provides a systematic framework (Situational Element $\rightarrow$ Model Element Mapping) for developing optimization, game, and data-driven models, ensuring that the model structure, assumptions, and novelty are explicitly defensible against academic critiques.

This guide provides a rigorous strategy for authors responding to major or minor revisions in cognitive psychology journals. It teaches how to systematically address every reviewer comment, strengthen model-driven inferences through techniques like model comparison and recovery analysis, and maintain the coherence and reproducibility of the theoretical argument. Essential reading for scholarly publication.

A comprehensive guide to understanding the rigorous, model-driven review process at top cognitive psychology journals. Learn how editors and experts evaluate theoretical impact, methodological rigor, model identifiability, and data reproducibility. Use this guide to stress-test your manuscript before submission, preempt common rejection reasons, and shape your work to maximize its chances of acceptance in demanding academic venues.

This comprehensive checklist guides authors through the final pre-submission review process for demanding academic journals. It ensures the manuscript is scientifically rigorous and complete, focusing on critical areas such as model-driven theoretical advancement, model comparison, data reproducibility (depositing code and verifying fit regeneration), and adherence to open science mandates. Use this guide before uploading to the journal's portal.

This skill provides a rigorous framework for researchers to evaluate whether their cognitive science project is suitable for high-impact, theory-driven journals. It guides users to elevate their contribution from single-effect reports to multi-experiment programs, formal computational models, and substantial theoretical advances, ensuring the work meets the necessary standard of integrative scope.

This tool serves as an orchestrator for authors preparing submissions to Cognitive Psychology (Elsevier). It guides users through the entire research lifecycle—from initial topic selection and theoretical formalization to study design, data analysis, and open science practices. It emphasizes structuring the contribution as a model-driven, multi-experiment program, ensuring all necessary steps, including code transparency, are addressed.

This skill serves as the central orchestrator for Communication Research (CR) manuscripts. It guides users through the entire academic publishing lifecycle, assessing whether a manuscript is quantitative, theory-driven, and methodologically sound. It routes the user to the appropriate specialized sub-skill (e.g., design, analysis, theory-building) based on the study type (experiment, survey, content analysis) and the current stage of the research process.

This detailed guide helps authors assess the scientific rigor and scope fit for manuscripts targeting Composites Part B: Engineering. It covers advanced domains like composite mechanics, manufacturing processes, multiscale modeling, and multifunctional materials. It emphasizes that a strong contribution must demonstrate a clear, mechanism-driven advance from material science to structural application, supported by rigorous, quantitative experimental evidence and model validation.
