A comprehensive guide for establishing robust causal links in environmental economics. It covers advanced econometric techniques for policy evaluation, including staggered Difference-in-Differences (DiD), Instrumental Variables (IV), and Regression Discontinuity Designs (RDD). It specifically addresses challenges in non-market valuation, such as spatial sorting, hypothetical bias, and separating weather shocks from long-term climate trends, ensuring the recovered parameter is welfare-relevant.

A comprehensive guide for academics writing in environmental economics, detailing how to articulate the marginal contribution of a manuscript. It teaches authors to move beyond simply presenting new data or methods, focusing instead on identifying the specific environmental-economic gap, policy parameter, or mechanism that the field currently lacks.

A comprehensive framework designed to ensure environmental economics manuscripts meet rigorous data-availability and reproducibility standards, especially for journals like JEEM. This package guides users to document the entire research pipeline, handling complex issues like data versioning, proprietary satellite/admin data, and multi-step spatial operations by establishing a credible end-to-end reproduction path.

A comprehensive methodological guide detailing the robustness checks expected by environmental economics journals (e.g., JEEM). It provides a checklist of targeted statistical tests—including spatial inference, handling omitted variables, and varying market definitions—to ensure key welfare estimates are stable and not artifacts of specification choices. Essential for academic research in environmental and resource economics.

A comprehensive pre-submission checklist for the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management (JEEM). This guide assists authors in ensuring scope compliance, style adherence, data availability, and fee readiness to minimize the risk of desk rejection before formal peer review.

A comprehensive guide for academic authors on how to structure theoretical and econometric models in environmental economics. It details what constitutes a 'policy-relevant' model—one that generates testable welfare expressions, optimal policy predictions, or comparative statics that inform regulatory decisions, moving beyond mere descriptive intuition.

This guide provides a rigorous framework for authors submitting to specialized environmental economics journals (like JEEM). It helps authors determine if their research core environmental or resource mechanisms, articulate clear welfare/policy stakes, and pass the field-specific scrutiny required to make a novel, high-impact contribution.

This router guides authors through the rigorous workflow of submitting a manuscript to the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management (JEEM). It provides a structured, step-by-step sequence—from topic selection and causal identification to robust modeling and final rebuttal—ensuring the paper meets the high standards of environmental and resource economics.

A comprehensive guide for structuring environmental economics manuscripts, specifically tailored for high-impact journals. It teaches authors how to maintain a 'welfare-economics prose' standard, ensuring the crucial link between the environmental problem, the economic mechanism, and the policy implication is clearly and authoritatively presented. This prevents the paper from sounding like advocacy while retaining scientific rigor.

This skill guides authors writing environmental or resource economics papers to determine if their manuscript is a suitable fit for the Journal of Environmental Economics and Management (JEEM). It provides deep insights into JEEM's required scope, expected methodologies (e.g., credible identification, valuation best practices), structural requirements, and common pitfalls, helping authors re-frame their research for maximum impact in the field.
