A comprehensive guide for authors targeting the International Conference on Pattern Recognition (ICPR). This skill helps evaluate if a manuscript fits the venue's scope, covering core topics like pattern recognition, computer vision, biometrics, and machine learning. It details necessary framing, evidence requirements (e.g., ablations, limitations), and how to differentiate the work from similar top-tier conferences (e.g., CVPR, ICML).

This skill guides users on whether their international economics manuscript fits the scope, theoretical depth, and methodological requirements of the International Economic Review. It analyzes the journal's focus (global governance, open policies), required evidence (FDI, GVC, cross-country data), and common submission pitfalls, helping authors improve manuscript structure and increase acceptance chances.

This guide helps researchers determine the optimal conference or journal venue for their software engineering contribution. It specifically addresses whether the core of the work is a testing or analysis technique evaluated on real subjects (ISSTA), or if it fits better within broader Software Engineering (ICSE/FSE), formal verification (PLDI/CAV), or applied domains.

A comprehensive guide for researchers seeking to validate if their academic question genuinely centers on the entrepreneurial phenomenon and fits the scope of top-tier journals like the Journal of Business Venturing (JBV). It provides a rigorous 'fit test' based on centrality, disciplinary lens, and process stage, helping authors avoid common desk-reject pitfalls.

This guide helps researchers assess if a corporate finance question is suitable for the Journal of Corporate Finance (JCF). It provides a framework to determine if the topic fits the journal's empirical or theoretical remit (e.g., governance, M&A, financial structure) and advises on the optimal article format (full-length vs. shorter paper). It serves as a critical self-check against common academic rejection pitfalls.

A comprehensive guide designed to help researchers assess whether a proposed research question fits the scope of the Journal of Labor Economics (JOLE). It teaches how to frame narrow topics to have general academic interest, ensuring the core lesson travels beyond the specific setting, and provides a structured checklist for manuscript refinement.

A comprehensive guide for researchers aiming to submit manuscripts to the Journal on Communications (JOC). It helps users assess if their topic fits the core communication discipline (theory, wireless, networking, security, signal processing) and distinguishes it from related academic journals. The guide also assists in selecting the appropriate article type and ensuring sufficient innovation and empirical rigor before submission.

This skill provides comprehensive guidance for authors targeting the Journal of the American College of Cardiology (JACC). It covers journal positioning, scope fit, rigorous methodology standards (e.g., CONSORT, TRIPOD), house style requirements, and official submission checklists for high-impact cardiovascular research. Use this tool when aiming for publication in JACC or determining if your manuscript fits this leading venue.

This comprehensive guide assists authors in determining if their authoritative clinical-oncology review or perspective fits the scope of Nature Reviews Clinical Oncology. It details the required synthesis depth, scope, commissioned submission process, and warns against submitting primary research, ensuring authors adhere to the specialized guidelines for this prestigious journal.

This guide details the scope, structure, and standards for submitting a 'Primer' to Nature Reviews Methods Primers. It is designed for authors seeking to author an authoritative, cross-disciplinary 'how-to' account of a method (experimental, computational, or analytical). It covers the expected evidence bar, full method lifecycle coverage, reproducibility requirements, and house style, helping authors determine if their topic fits the journal's mandate.

This comprehensive guide helps authors determine if their research fits the scope of Nature Synthesis. It emphasizes that the core contribution must be a novel synthetic method or strategy (rather than just an application). The guide details specific requirements across organic, inorganic, materials, and electrochemical synthesis, covering method rigor, evidence standards, and journal formatting rules.

This guide provides a comprehensive framework for authors to determine if their research manuscript fits the scope of Production and Operations Management (POM) and which specific department or journal is the best target. It outlines critical criteria, such as identifying a real operational decision, passing the practice-relevance gate, and strategically selecting a single department for submission, helping authors avoid common submission pitfalls.
