Skill UI

This skill guides authors on crafting authoritative, comprehensive, and critical reviews for top-tier materials science journals. It emphasizes moving beyond simple literature summaries to provide deep, balanced, and critical synthesis of an entire field's state-of-the-art. Use this when developing a major review manuscript or determining if your work fits the scope of a high-impact, field-spanning publication.

A comprehensive guide for designing conceptual figures for highly theoretical manuscripts (e.g., Psychological Review). This skill teaches how to create two types of non-experimental exhibits: structured model/architecture diagrams and simulation-of-model-behavior plots. It emphasizes rigorous academic standards, including defining constructs vs. processes, distinguishing predictions from fits, and ensuring figures are self-contained and diagnostic.

This skill guides researchers on assessing if their academic project fits the scope and standards of a major social science journal. It provides a rigorous framework to test for general significance, methodological credibility, theoretical contribution, and adherence to strict word limits, helping authors effectively frame their work for a broad academic audience.

A comprehensive guide for authors considering submission to SIAM Review. This skill evaluates whether a manuscript fits the journal's expository, broad-readership mandate for applied and computational mathematics. It outlines requirements for different sections (e.g., Survey, Research Spotlights), covering accessibility, technical rigor, structure, and official submission checklists.

This guide provides a comprehensive understanding of how top-tier academic journals, like Social Psychology Quarterly, evaluate manuscripts. It covers critical areas such as maintaining proper author blinding, ensuring the paper fits within specific theoretical traditions (e.g., sociological social psychology), and understanding the decision patterns (reject, revise, accept). Use this to pre-empt failure modes and strategically shape your research paper for optimal chances of publication.

This guide provides detailed guidelines for authors submitting to top-tier formal methods conferences (like TACAS). It emphasizes moving beyond simple literature summaries by employing a "delta-first" approach. Authors must precisely position their algorithm or tool by contrasting its novel features, guarantees, or scaling benefits against the nearest prior work, while also crediting underlying infrastructure and covering major verification venues.

A specialized guide for assessing whether a storage systems or file system manuscript fits the USENIX FAST conference. It covers venue positioning, required evidence (realistic workloads, fault models), appropriate framing, and comparison methodologies necessary for top-tier systems conference submissions.

This skill guides authors in polishing academic manuscripts for top-tier comparative politics and International Relations journals. It ensures the work reads broadly across cases, front-loads the core argument, adheres to strict house styles (author-date, anonymity), and fits demanding word count limits. Ideal for final drafting and submission preparation.

Astropy is the essential Python package for astronomical research and data analysis. It provides a comprehensive suite of tools for handling celestial coordinate transformations (e.g., ICRS, Galactic), managing physical units and quantities, processing FITS files, performing complex cosmological calculations, and ensuring precise time handling. It is indispensable for any project involving scientific data in the field of astronomy and astrophysics.

This skill helps authors assess whether a manuscript genuinely fits the Journal of Systems Engineering (Tianjin University), or decide among six adjacent Chinese journals. It uses a five-gate scoring system and provides explicit rerouting rules.

Automates BambooHR human-resources workflows through the Composio BambooHR toolkit on Rube MCP, covering employee directories, time-off, benefits, dependents, and updates after ensuring active connections and schema lookups.

Plan first, then orchestrate parallel agents with adversarial verification via the local odw daemon. Use when a task spans many files or items and benefits from concurrent agents.
