This guide helps researchers rigorously evaluate if their project meets the criteria for a 'systems analysis' in high-impact journals. It teaches how to shift the research focus from single-factor field trials to complex systems questions that analyze interactions, trade-offs, and emergent behaviors across multiple hierarchical levels, such as the farm to the food system. Essential for properly framing scope and article type before submission.

This tool serves as the central orchestrator for developing and submitting manuscripts to Current Anthropology (CA). It guides authors through the entire academic lifecycle, helping them determine the correct article type (Major Article, Report, Forum, etc.), appropriate subfield, and the necessary current stage (e.g., theory building, data analysis, ethics review). It ensures submissions are robust enough to withstand the rigorous CA✩ commentary and reply process.

This advanced routing skill guides researchers through the complex process of submitting manuscripts in agriculture, environment, and earth science. It does not replace a single journal profile, but rather classifies the work by sub-field, contribution type, and evidence shape. By evaluating pre-routing gates (e.g., evidence strength, scale match), it determines the best specialist venue for re-framing and submission.

This central routing skill guides authors through the complex process of journal selection for engineering and technology manuscripts. It does not replace a single journal submission but first classifies the content based on the engineering sub-discipline, contribution type (e.g., method, system, device), validation shape (e.g., simulation, field experiment), and intended audience breadth. It then routes the paper to the most specialized and appropriate journal skill for accurate re-framing and submission.

This skill is a comprehensive routing guide for scholarly manuscripts in the humanities. It assists users by classifying submissions based on sub-field (e.g., history, philosophy, literature), contribution type (argument, theory, interpretation), and methodological approach. It helps determine the optimal target journal among various specialized and generalist venues, ensuring the manuscript is correctly framed for scholarly review and fit.

This comprehensive routing skill guides users through the complex process of selecting the most appropriate English-language academic journal for their manuscript. It acts as a high-level meta-guide, moving beyond single-journal profiles. Users classify their work based on its contribution type (e.g., causal effect, new theory), methodological shape (e.g., structural, field experiment), target discipline (e.g., finance, marketing), and ultimate submission goal (e.g., top-5 venue). It provides actionable advice for re-framing and optimizing fit.

Provides essential guidelines for designing rigorous, generalizable field experiments in crop research. Covers multi-environment trials (MET), proper randomization, blocking strategies, split-plot designs, and Genotype-by-Environment (G×E) analysis. Use this tool when planning or defending the scientific rigor of an agricultural manuscript.

This skill serves as the central orchestrator for Field Crops Research (FCR) manuscripts. It guides researchers through the entire writing lifecycle by first enforcing a critical 'scope gate' (checking for field-based, multi-environment relevance). It then intelligently routes the user based on the project stage, article type (e.g., Original Research, Review, Opinion), and necessary steps, ensuring the manuscript is scientifically viable before any content drafting begins.

A comprehensive guide for political science scholars to pressure-test their research ideas against the standards of the American Political Science Review (APSR). This skill emphasizes demonstrating general disciplinary significance (matters to the field) over mere subfield novelty, guiding users through framing, contribution type, and appropriate track selection.

A comprehensive guide for quantitative economists to assess if a research topic meets the 'rigor and generality' standards of the International Economic Review (IER). It helps users determine the scope of their contribution, matching it against archetypes like pure theory, structural macro, econometrics, and causal micro, ensuring the work has broad appeal beyond a specific field.

This guide helps researchers select and defend the appropriate empirical methodology for Operations Management (OM) studies. It covers diverse design types—including surveys, archival data analysis, behavioral experiments, field studies, and intervention-based research—ensuring the design is observation-grounded, matches the operational claim, and anticipates rigorous methodological checks.

This tool acts as an orchestrator for submissions to the journal *Language* (LSA). It guides authors through the complex manuscript development process by identifying the appropriate piece type (e.g., General Research Article, Review Article) and routing them to the necessary specialized skills (e.g., theory building, literature positioning, data analysis). It helps authors structure their work and ensure theoretical depth and cross-subfield legibility.
